Always wanted to try pressing flowers to make cards. It was fun. Followed the directions... I may consider a larger one, but this one worked well. Thank-you.

Would make a great gift, it's exactly as described, the storage bag is really handy too, I love it! No complaints, has plenty of layers, really love it.

I have not given it to them yet; this will be a Christmas gift for my 3 granddaughters, aged 10, 8 and 5. I think they will love it. It is a good size and has instructions for pressing flowers or botanical samples to use in crafts or as samples of the plant species. I think they will enjoy it and it has educational possibilities.

We do many different types of crafting, so when I saw this flower press, I ordered it. It is a standard flower press, easy to use, and made of good-quality materials. One bolt causes the wingnut to get stuck, but I can work around it. The price is reasonable and comes with everything you need to start pressing flowers, including a few tips. The blotting paper is thick, and the cardboard inserts are a decent thickness.

I got so excited, and started pressing my wedding flowers only to realize this kit is missing the wing nuts. I can’t return this because I’ve already placed my flowers in it and fear they won’t turn out now. I’m trying to use books to compensate but the kit is useless without the nuts. I hope to find the right size at the hardware store but feeling really frustrated

How sad! I was really stoked to do some flower pressing for an upcoming event. Everything went fine until I got to the last wing nut.As can be seen in the pics, the wing nuts should go all the way down the screws to tighten the press lid.Unfortunately, one of the wing nuts is defective.I tried it on all four screws to rule out a threading issue. And it met with the same results: it would go around the first two threads on the screws but then hang up at the top.Without a tightened “press,†there are no pressed flowers. It’s a shame really, because the press came with very clear pictorial instructions, all the parts, paper and cardboard, and even a set of tools. Unfortunately, without a proper wing nut, it cannot be used. I will have to try and find a similar nut at the hardware store.I’m giving it three stars despite the issue because I think it would be a great gift (just check the screws beforehand!) for a creative gardener. And I like the fact it comes with everything provided, including scissors, tweezers, utility knife, and an aeration tool.Plus an ample supply of cardboard and blotting paper.Wish I could reorder.

We wanted to get something to keep the kids occupied on rainy days. And this kit was amazing. The ease of use allowed even the younger kids to be included. Huge value for the amount of time this kept them busy. The ease of use made it a go to first grab right out the gate. They even started using out by the pool because they found new things to press. Super fast shipping and amazing price make this a must have i.m.o.5 ðŸƒ ðŸ‚ â˜˜ï¸ ðŸ 🀠all day long here

I am really excited to try out this kit with some flowers from the property where we are moving to. The kit has everything I need from the blotting papers, the tools to arrange the flowers exactly how I want them to appear, the wooden pressing plates, the screws to tighten them AND instructions which I have found to be lacking in other kits. The pressing plates are nicely made and are perfect for pressing the flowers flat. Once they are done I am planning to put them in frames to hang in my kitchen. Overall this is a really nice kit that has everything needed for this project. This is fun activity for both teens and adults who love to work with plants.
