NVAAV Large Flower Pressing Kit, Quickly Flower Drying Kit for Adults and Kids
NVAAV plant leaf & flower pressing is a traditional way, which will cultivate patience between parents and kids, and leave a happy memory.
It's widely used for decorating greeting cards, scrapbooks, menus, bookmarks, picture frames, room accessories, weddings, or other invitations.
HOW TO USE NVAAV PRESSED FLOWER KIT?
1. Assemble the wood plate of the plant press kit, then place a piece of cardboard and lay a piece of blotting paper on the cardboard.
2. Pick the flowers that you like to press and cut with scissors, then use the tweezer to place the flowers on the blotting paper without overlapping each other.
3. Use the 7-needle tool to poke holes around the thick leaves or flower stems to speed up water loss and dry out.
4. Lay another layer of blotting paper and place a piece of cardboard on the top of the blotting paper.
5. Cover the wooden embossed board on the cardboard, and tighten the wing nuts at the four corners, but not too tight, otherwise you will crash your gorgeous flowers.
6. Put them in a ventilated and dry place while pressing, wait for 1 week. ( The time depends on the flower size and storage environment of the flower-preserving kit.)

Pretty press. Don't over tighten the screws, and this should last a long time.

I had never used a flower press before, other than sticking a small flower in a book!I tried this on one flower so far, and I expected to be a little more impressed! Here is why:- The press has to be put together anew every time you use it. I was hoping it could stay assembled so that when I found a pretty flower, I could just stick it in there. If you have the room, you can leave it assembled, but it will not fit in the box or in the black bag that is supplied. If this is taken apart every time you use it, chances are really good that one of the nuts, bolts, or screws are going to end up lost.- The instructions (written in broken English) did not teach me anything about how to dry flowers. I expected them to say something about how long the flowers should be left in the press, if there are certain flowers that cannot be used, and possibly to provide an idea or two about what to do with pressed flowers. I also did not know what to do with any of the tools provided.- I finally noticed that there are some instructions provided on the listing. It’s still not enough though. Because that is the only way to get any additional needed information, this item is not giftable, even though it comes in a very pretty box.The press itself is pretty, and it presses the flowers nicely. I deducted one star because this is not beginner friendly. I am a beginner and I did not understand what to do!

Due to the lack of material (cardboard etc) sent with the press, you cannot actually tighten it. If I move the nuts further than where my finger is in the photo, the nuts fall past all the threading…Either use different bolts, or send more paper with it (advertised to come with a lot more)
