Material not as expected. This design is supposed to be a beautiful one.Starting with the way it was shipped very poorly. Barely a narrow cardboard on top and one a the bottom and some light plastic bag. Some edges were exposed and bended a bit making harder to glue the pieces together.On top of that, the top molding is not white like the bottom column molding, it’s some off white color. I wasn’t planning to paint it but now I have to paint the column to make it all white color. Then, there was not even one piece of paper to show how to put it together and install it. You have to use your common sense, It would be nice to at least refer us to a web site to show how to install this particular column, what materials to use, like what type of glue or size of nails, some guidance. Nothing all!So as excited as we were to buy this column, that’s how disappointed we are too.

They said this item would cover a standard 6x6 post. As you can see in the picture, it’s not even close. When I contacted them all they said was I got what I ordered. They would not address the issue that they advertise the ‘actual dimension’ is 5.63. Well every 6x6 post I measured at the box store has a dimension of 5.5. Again I refer to the picture. Who ya gonna believe, your eyes or their description.
