This thing is unreal. It really does do 21+ mph. Takes off great in every level of power. (1 thru 5) Sturdy. Plastic fenders but at least it's got fenders. Everything is good quality. Heavy, well-built frame. Paint job is beautiful. And best of all, can't beat the price. Heck, you can hardly get a regular bike for 200 or so.

First off let me start this review out by saying that I have noticed a lot of post on other forums such as Reddit that claim this bike on Amazon is a scam because of being such a bargain price. I placed an order with Amazon for this bike for 219. 'With tax and shipping the total price came out 442,79. I also bought a different e-bike from Amazon just a few days before ordering the Funhang. Between the two bikes, the Funhang arrived with the better packaging. The Funhang was also the easier bike to assemble. It only took 5 days for the bike to arrive after ordering. After receiving the bike, and opening the box. It took between 30 and 45 minutes for me to assemble the bike. I charged the battery and inflated the tires to 55 psi. Took a couple of hours to charge the battery. I took the bike out for a test ride. This bike is definately worth 442.79. And is definitely not a scam. I am 6'2" and 250 pounds. This bike will reach 21 miles per hour with me on it. This bike will get a person up a hill with no issues. I've seen a several people crap on this bike (via social media post). I will tell you do not listen to the critics, they do not know what they are talking about. I chose not to install the fenders, as I think the bike looks better without them. This bike is one of the lighter weight bikes I have had the pleasure to ride. It has plenty of acceleration. The ride is smooth and comfortable. I set the front suspension to the open position. No it's not the fastest e-bike you can get. Yes it's only a 500 watts. But don't let the specifications fool you. This bike is plenty powerful enough for most people. Besides that in my opinion I feel like anything over 25 miles per hour on a bike is a little too on the dangerous side anyway. I am very satisfied with my purchase. In fact I would not hesitate to buy another one. The other bike I own is 750 watts with a top speed of 28 mile per hour. But it's a heavier bike and harder to tote up and down a narrow stairwell. Between the two bikes I much prefer the Funhang for its total weight and comfortable ride. I don't need to do 28 miles per hour on a bike in my town with all of the traffic we have here. I feel much safer on the Funhang and like the looks a of it because it looks like a regular bike with a battery mouted on the down tube. So if you happen to read a bad review of this bike saying it's a scam or it's a crappy bike. More than likely they didn't purchase the bike and have no idea what they speak of. They are just basing their opinions off of the specifications of the bike and the fact that it's so cheap or sold on Amazon. Please don't let any of these post's discourage you from purchasing this very affordable performing e-bike.

Better than expected! Can't be beat for the price. We have bought two and might get a third. We got the ladies and men's version and they are quite different in style but work the same. Highly recommend if you need an affordable ebike. Also the battery lasts a long time. You can ride and ride!

Pros:Excellent power, good battery life, good features such as handlebar riser, palm rests, easy to read and use LCD, nice looking and very fun to ride.It rides great on level ground with battery off, which means it rides nicely as a regular bike. Having it be electric is a bonus when needed.It has 21 speeds for which i know nothing about. i keep it in 3 or 4 when battery is not in use and it's perfect for level ground.In fact, i never shift gears at all other than switching between PAS modes.It has 5 PAS modes. i rarely need to go beyond 3 between 10-45 degree inclines.Of course this may very per person based on body frame, health and strength.Cons:Brakes squeal badly and makes coasting downhill less enjoyable.I have to brake softly all the way down hill in attempt to avoid squealing and from everyone looking at me (lol). In due time i may research to see if a better braking pad is available.Also, your foot can sometimes hit the kickstand while pedaling due to location and size of it. If your a big guy with big feet, may want to be a bit concerned about this.Summary:Aside from the brakes, this is a very affordable ebike and good for the money. I did moderate research before purchasing and hoped it was what i expected.Turns out it was! I'm very happy with the bike. I'm yearning to ride on weekends.Hope this helps those scouting for an ebike.
