Grating cheese is an absolute nightmare and cardio workout especially when you've got big blocks of cheese to handle. This machine is perfect and works wonders! It's a good size, made from quality plastics and is easy to assemble and switch the grating plates. This thing has enough torque and power to easily grate some harder aged cheddars.

I have used a lot of manual vegetable shredders and choppers, and vintage cheese graters. I get so tired of making salads and grating cheese, and now that my doctor has told me to eat more cheese and more vegetables this was a god send!This vegetable chopper is essentially one switcvh operation. on and off, thats it. So simple.Setting it up is as easy as sliding your desired blades into the tumbler drum, and stick your veggie or cheese in the top.Its not very loud, and it is plenty powerful for the size.Best of all is how easy it is to clean. This is by far the easiest chopper/grater to clean that I have ever used in my entire life. Yesterday I shredded some cheese with the small blades which was a mistake with the mild cheddar I was grating. The large hole blades do fantastic on cheese. Anyway the grater worked and made me grated cheese, but at the same time the cheese got soft and just gummed up the blades, drum, and inside of the chopper.I obviously thought it was going to take soem work to clean, but press a button to release the tumbler drum, and you can very easily slide it all apart and with a quick shake in warm water, it was clean!I was so happy! So clean, so easy!My only issue to note is that this is not a UL listed appliance, but beyond that I absolutely love this. I feel like I need to make an offering to the deities of kitchen appliances!
