I recently purchased the Portable Electric Fireplace Heater, and I’m happy with my decision. I was looking for a compact heater to keep my room cozy during chilly nights, and this heater does the job perfectly. The design is sleek and stylish, adding a nice touch to my room’s decor. I like it has the flame effect, it has a surprisingly authentic feel and helps set the mood. While it's great for ambiance, it also heats small rooms effectively, offering the warmth I need. The unit operates quietly, is easy to use, and is portable, which makes it simple to move around. It also has an automatic shutoff feature adds an extra layer of safety. Overall, it’s a good purchase for both heating and creating a cozy atmosphere.

I AM OBSESSED with this product. It is lit weight, and I carry it from room to room plugging it in. It has a noise of fire that I "thought" I was going to love. The fire noise doesn't sound real, but the "mood" of this tiny heater is so charming. I highly recommend it if you are like me and always cold. I love the fake flames and the two levels of heating.

I wanted exactly this heater for my pop-top tent trailer. The exterior finish is pretty, and well done. The handle is sturdy, thick fake leather I think. The fire is pretty and quite realistic. There was a bit of a smell initially (basically cooking off residues etc. left after manufacture) but I ran it on high outside for 15 minutes and it was gone. It puts out a good deal of heat, typical for any 1500 watt space heater. On a night with frost warnings out, it heated my tent trailer up over 70 degrees. I was surprised at that, because although the tent has multiple layers providing some insulation, there is still a lot of heat loss through the walls. Eventually I had to turn it down to 750 watts. As some have mentioned, the crackling sound is a bit "tinny", but still pretty good in my opinion. I tested the auto shut off by progressively tilting it, and it shuts off once it is leaning about 45 degrees. I highly recommend this heater.

In the world of faux fire appliances, this one is fun and unique. It’s my own personal-sized mini fireplace! I’ve had it nearly a month and used the heat function just once, to warm my bathroom. Being an electricity miser I used it on low and it did an ok job (my bathroom 8’x12’). But I didn’t buy this little guy for heat. Since getting it, I’ve used it every day because I enjoy the look of the flames and the crackling sound. I even turn it on at bedtime because it puts off a comforting glow and as someone who wakes often it works as a perfect source of cozy light that eliminates toe-stubbing but won’t wake you up.SOUND: I find it relaxing. Naturally it must be on a loop but I don’t notice it. Full disclosure: I have moderate hearing loss so at bedtime, with my hearing aids out, the crackling is quieter for me. But even with the aids in, I don’t find the crackling sound intrusive.FIRE: at the price I paid (>100) the flames aren’t going to look super realistic but they’re better than I expected. I especially like the visual warmth of the glowing logs, they did a great job there.COLORS: the orangey-yellow flames constantly rise up from the logs and the logs are a deeper orange, appearing hot like the color of live coals. When it’s turned off it looks how a real fireplace looks, with logs left burnt from a previous fire.PHOTO: water bottle for sizeSide note: I stuck a nifty timer on the end of the cord, which I leave attached. (visible in photo). The timer has buttons for on/off and multiple hour settings so that’s super handy .. if anyone’s curious it’s a BN-LINK countdown timer.I think all faux fires are overpriced but am giving it 5 stars based on how much I’m enjoying it. At the same time I bought it, I also bought a costlier faux fire (duraflame freestanding stove heater) which of course is fancier but guess what: if you said I could only keep one, hands down I’d choose the little Shinic!
