This is a great little electric suction cup for lifting anything flat and somewhat smooth, and I definitely recommend it for the price. It's well-made in every aspect, with strong suction that makes a good seal, straightforward operation, a good battery life, and sturdy construction that holds up well to use in the workshop or out on the job. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable to charge it up through the USB-C port on the suction cup, as well as a carrying case that's made of hard plastic and latches securely shut. It also boasts a standard 18650 rechargeable lithium battery which is easily replaceable in case you want to swap batteries or need to refresh it, as well as 2 extra cotton pads that act as filters for the air pump. Plus the digital display shows you the pressure gauge, which is important for safety! The only complaints I could see making about this are extremely minor. There's the fact that the case isn't super impressive, it's a hard but somewhat thin plastic with some plastic foam padding; but you aren't buying this for a heavy-duty case. Then, there's the fact that there's not a 'instant pressure release' feature, but when you press the button twice it does release very quickly, within a second. The suction cup holds really well to various surfaces. I've tested it with a table, some plywood, drywall, glass, tile, plastic plating, aluminum and metal sheets, and a few similar surfaces. It holds very well to anything completely smooth, and it holds surprisingly well to anything that has bumps or ridges that aren't too large. In general it's pretty easy to look at a surface and guess 'is this something a suction cup would possibly be able to grip onto?' and if the answer is yes, odds are it will hold on very well. The things to look out for are large bumps, large or long ridges/cracks, or any significant layers of dust or dirt that would understandably get in the way of the suction. It's also able to handle a lot of weight. I'm not at all strong enough to deadlift 600 lbs. with one hand, I doubt I could even lift 400 lbs. with one hand, and I'm not willing to break my back trying. What I can tell you is, this very easily lifts objects over 200 lbs. without showing any signs of stress. So, I do believe the claim this could lift up to around 600 lbs. on a flat and smooth nonporous surface with no issue.Overall, for the price this is a great suction cup, and I definitely recommend it. I'm mainly using this to lift plywood and wood sheets for my construction needs, personally, and I'll update this review if I have any issues with it down the line.* I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis.* I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review.* I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product.* I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable.* If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them.* And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

Well, I just got the one of these. Which retailed at $70 at the time of this review. But you know what they say. "You gotta pay for quality," right? And so far it has performed quite well for me.However, there are these two little soft, round white pieces in the bag with the charging cable, and I have scoured the instructions for an explanation of what they are for. Unfortunately though, I couldn't find one. All I could find was something on page 10 that said,"2. Keep the bottom of the vacuum suction cup smooth and free of foreign objects, and ensure the dust adhesive (white) remains intact."So I figure that it's just basically a filter that goes over the hole where the air is sucked in, to keep dirt and and foreign objects out of it. Or something like that. Also, if you look on the bottom of the suction cup, there should be an indentation with another soft, round white piece. And if you take that piece out you can see the hole that it covers. So then, if you count the soft, round piece that's already in one of these electric suction cups, then technically, each one of them should come with THREE soft, round white pieces.Anyway, moving on... I especially like that it comes with a case to store it in. It also looks like you get two cases when you order the two pack. The case isn't anything to write home about though, lol. But it should last for a good while as long as it's taken care of.As far as the charging specifications go, just ONE of the suction cups has a battery with a capacity of 1200mAh. Then they say that a fully charged battery should last for about 8 hours of use, or maybe a little more than that. And to charge it, of course a cable with a USB-C connection on one end and a regular USB-A connection on the other end is included, while no power brick is included. But that's pretty standard for rechargeable devices these days. The only thing that I wish was better about the charging, is how fast it recharges. Or rather, how slow it charges. It only charges at 5V/1a, which would be a maximum of 5 watts. It's not too bad though I suppose, as it only takes 3 whole entire full hours to recharge, lol.

This thing is AWESOME. 4 stars because there is no "release" button, you have to pull the tab. I worked for a glass company and we used manual versions of these that you had to pump with your thumb - this is much easier. The battery charged up quickly and is interchangeable, so if you're doing a lot of glazier work that could be handy. I used it to lift an integrated blind/window assembly into place for the first job and it was handy and worked great. I wish there was a push button to release pressure, but that's easy enough - just pull the tab. I like the inlcuded protector and the blow molded case to keep trash off the sealing surface.

I liked the fact this came in a protective and strong case which makes it easy to store and to carry as well as keeping the suction cup in good condition. We have only used this domestically but it has performed very well on tiles and also on glass when we were repairing the greenhouse. It had good suction and made it much easier to grip and manoeuvre the tiles and glass - thereby making those jobs not only easier, but also somewhat safer.

I wanst sure what to expect from this suction cup - I have been laying slabs for years without the aid of one but curiosity got the better of me so I figured I see if they were worth having...the short answer is yes for many cases they are indeed worth having.Operation could not be much simpler - pop the cup onto whatever you ar wanting to lift, hold it flat and punp the plunger with your thumb until the on board gauge reaches the green and you are good to lift. I find its easier to orient the cup with the gauge facing me as it allows more room for your hand on the handle as my knuckles touch the gauge slightly. To disengage the cup, theres a release valve thats also operathed by your thumb which breaks the vaccuum seal.I was extremely suprised just how powerful the hold the suction gives on to slabs - even very heavy ones, even 1.2m x 0.6m porcelain is held effortlessly, although you still have to lift the bloomin things. For me in mant ways these suction cups are a bit of a game changer manoeuvering slabs is a doddle and means no more getting fingers trapped when spaces are tight.Accessories wise theres a protective plate for the cup to sit on between uses to keep the surface clean in order to get a good vaccuum and some spare gaskets and seals, it also comes in a very handy but slightly flimsy blow moulded case.I really like this suction cup for slabbing but it is useful any time you are lifting anything that is awkward (providing it has a fairly smooth surface). At £40 for one the price is quite reasonable.

Perfect suction cups for moving aorund panes of glass. Used them a few times for windscreen removals, and they're great. Solid, sturdy build quality, clear to read pressure gauge, and the controls are tactile and easy to use. Price is good. Recommended.

I am gradually renovating the large old greenhouse I have inherited on my allotment plot. Much of the old glass is broken or cracked; other panes have been replaced over the years with a variety of materials, often glued in with a thick layer of old putty Which needs to be carefully chipped out to release the glass. My preferred replacement material is acrylic. One of the big challenges has been finding a way to hold a pane of glass or acrylc in place while working around to remove putty, or lifting a new pane into position to fit just right. Doing these things single handed is extremely difficult, especially considering the safety aspects of dropping sheets of fragile old glass. This suction pad is a surprisingly effective solution to many of those problems. Provided it can get a good seal on the glass (you might need to clean your glass first if it's as grubby as some of my greenhouse glass), the suction pad will attach securely and this gives you a very sturdy handle so that you can hold the pane in place with one hand while removing putty or making fine positioning adjustments with the other. This simple but quite sophisticated device really has expanded the range of what I can do by myself on the greenhouse.I can imagine this tool having a lot of other uses around the house and garden including making it easier to lift and position heavy tiles. The tool is intuitive and easy to use but I would recommend, if like me you're a beginner at this, that you experiment a little in a safe way before lifting anything that would be harmful if dropped. Getting the pressure right takes a little bit of practiec, so I experimented attaching the suction pad to a pane of glass on a flat piece of grass before relying on it to lift around the actual greenhouse. The tool comes packaged in its own protective case which is a bit bulky but does mean that the delicate surface and the pump mechanism will be less vulnerable to damage in transit or storage.

Avhrit 8" Glass Suction Cup. This is a heavy duty suction cup with a pressure gauge that comes in a carry case for safe storage during transit and storage. My review relates to the 1x Suction Cup listing which is no longer an option, though this doesn't affect my review.Though it's designed to be used on glass it can also be used on smoother stone or tiles aslomg as you follow the preparation steps to ensure safe operation. The hand pump pressure mechanism works well and the pressure gauge is easy to read and interpret. It comes with some fabric gloves and the ABS non slip plastic handle is strong and robust.I've tried this with green house glass, bathroom tiles, slate and paving slabs. As long as you prep the surface correctly it works well. Price wise I think it's reasonable considering the build quality and performance.
