After about a month, it's still heating up. I've heated chicken, hamburger helper, and some pizza. This thing gets hot, so be careful touching the bottom.

I must say I am really happy with this product. It's easy to use, and boy does it get your food hot. I had blackeye peas n rice, green's, and pork chop. Food was in frig overnight, heat it up next day in lunchbox and 26mins I had blow on my food before tasting. I got it for when I camp and want warm leftovers 💯â¤ï¸ðŸ‘ðŸ¿

This is my first heated lunch box, so I can't compare it to other brands, but here are the pros and cons of this one.Pros:It is an adorable design. It came with its own utensils and two soft sponges to wash it! There is a little slot that closes on top to carry its utensils or your own. The thermal bag this comes in not only keeps this lunchbox warm, but it can also keep other food warm, if you just want to put hot food in the bag to transport. The plastic tray on top can be used as a steamer, since steam comes through the hole while your food is cooking. It can be plugged into a wall outlet (AC) or your car cigarette lighter (DC). The instructions were easy to follow and include diagrams. It comes with two separate stainless steel plates as well as two plastic containers for your food.Cons:The plastic steamer seems to attract hair, but that might just be mine. I will have to find a way to remove this static attraction. The biggest downside is this truly does take a while to heat up your food - at least forty minutes using a wall outlet. It's like a mini oven. As my photos show, I heated up refried beans straight from the can. They took fifty minutes to heat to the point I could enjoy eating them. I do like those quite hot though (I've burned my mouth on them before). The instruction manual indicates using the DC outlet in a car would take longer, which I'm sure is true, considering that outlet is only intended to light a cigarette.The design of this lunchbox is basically a stainless steel tray being heated by a hot plate, so not only does the electricity have to heat the plate at the bottom, but then that plate must also heat the stainless steel tray before your food can get hot. One other reviewer suggested putting water on the bottom heated plate, which the instruction manual says not to do, but absent that, you will be waiting at least forty minutes for a hot meal in the best conditions. The instruction manual also says not to use cleaning agents on the stainless steel trays, but I'm not putting food on something that was only cleaned with hot water (which is what the manual says to do). I used Dawn dish soap to clean my stainless steel trays even before I first used them, and they were fine. Of course, they should be, being stainless steel. Anyway, this device does make the food hot enough to be tasty, but you will have to be patient for that.

Cheap made, one latch keeps coming off, power light does not come on so you don’t know if it’s on for hours keep checking. 2 meals have been made for lunch had to throw both away thanking it was ready. It’s 3 days old. Don’t stop on this one keep thumbing up!!!

It works fine does it purpose but I realized that one of the snaps was broken could returned it since it was already washed. Definitely recommend heats up all. 15-30 minutes to heat up food
