Every other week my husband would slice up cardboard boxes with a utility knife for recycling. Bought him this for Christmas and he really likes it. Cuts right through the heavier cardboard boxes.

I loved it I have arthritis in my hands and can’t use shears to cut up boxes . This cuts through cardboard boxes so much easier

The Sencan electric scissors were ordered for use in my workshop and around our home. These scissors were ordered to replace the cordless electric scissors that I've had for about 25 years. When comparing these two tools, the newer scissors were found to be faster and better at cutting than the older pair. This is not only because the blades were newer. The new scissors seemed to be more powerful and about double the speed of the older pair. The scissors were partially charged when received. The scissors were plugged into the charging unit that came with the set, and it took about 45 minutes to come to a full charge. When using the new scissors for cutting, they were found to be good at cutting fabric. However, my wife said they would not, ever, replace her fabric scissors she keeps at her sewing machine. So, when used in a generic setting with fabric, the scissors do the job, but for precise cutting they are not at the level of a good pair of fabric scissors. The scissors do an acceptable job of cutting thinner cardboard like something similar to the cardboard backing that comes in a nice dress shirt or single layer cardboard boxes. But the scissors do not have the power to cut heavier cardboard boxes. The wheeled, electric box cutters provide much better results on thick cardboard boxes, and they are quicker due to their power. They also cut thinner sheet metal and plastic with ease. The metal was like a soda can or slightly thicker. The same was true with plastic. Based upon the cost and the quality & speed of the cuts, I would order them again. Just be aware, that cutting thicker cardboard, metal, and plastic may be problematic.

I can not find one good thing to say about it. This design is so bad that you constantly touch the start button, no safety switch either. It does not work well at all, I tried to cut a milk carton to prepare it for yam slips for planting, it won’t even cut that very well. Wish I had tried it as soon as I got it but needed it more for planting use to cut out things. The season is now starting for me, It is a waste of money totally 💯 precent. Don’t know how they can sell something like this for that much money.

This cuts just fine. The problem for me is that it cannot be locked from cutting. Holding it to change blades it cannot be locked...I found that out. Move it and the cutters engage if you hold it wrong. Very scary for me since I have arthritis and have a hard time holding this cylindrical cutter to where no part of my hand touches the power bar that engages the cutting blades. Definitely not for children.
