For the money, this is a great purchase. Dueto extremely cold weather I needed a homecharger for my EV. This worked perfectly using a regular 3 prong 120 receptacle.The only negative for me was the very smallscreen, a little hard to read.

If I could give something zero stars, I would give this one zero stars. If your cord isn't 25 ft, don't put it in the detailed description, if this had the correct length I would have never bought it. I'm returning it immediately, this is one of the many reasons Amazon sucks third party sellers.

For a budget priced charger, this thing is awesome! We'll see if it lasts, but it feels like a top notch charger. The screen is small, but...it has a screen! The adjustable amperage is nice (just don't forget to put it back to normal if you switch it to a lower charging rate). It maxes out at about 3.7kwh, so easily twice as fast as on a 110v outlet, but its no supercharger. Speaking of which, being able to charge on both 110 and 220v is really nice, and the adjustable charging rate is really important if you find yourself needing to charge on a 15amp 110v outlet. And that it came with the adapter to go from the 6-20 plug to the standard 5-15 is great.

Even with the extra 1 foot for the 120 charger adapter, I could barely get my plugin hybrid close enough to charge!I meant to take a photo of how close I had to pull my car up to the garage to barely get it to plug in, but I forgot. Trust me on this one. My Toyota parking radar alert was red and screaming because I had to get so close to my garage door to access the outside plug.The little tiny LCD readout screen is "okay," but not super high quality. I don't know about longevity here.There are many at this price point, so I'll shop around, but I honestly didn't expect it to be so short. 16 feet was somewhat buried in the description (or I just missed it). If you're new to a plug-in like me, you might think that was pretty long. It's not. It's much shorter than the standard 25-foot Toyota charger that came with my 2024 Rav4 Prime plugin hybrid. If it was not going to be at least the same length, I wanted/needed longer.TopAutoGear, or whoever made this, needs to spend a little more $ and add at least ten more feet to this cord.

Charger feels light and yes it only has a 15 foot cord. But what do you expect for a $100 charger. I wanted a 120 volt charger to use with my off grid solar system and this charger has performed great. Don't expect to charge fast since this is only a 16 amp charger. It does what it claims and does it well.

This unit works just fine on our 2018 LEAF. I am able to dial in 16 amps@120V, and the unit powers back up with this setting..which is a good thing. You don't need to use an app to start it, another plus. It's also a nice little feature to have a timer on the unit, however I just use the one in the car. Amperage/voltage is shown live as you charge, to confirm that all is working as it should be.I am using this to charge at our campsite, where max power available is 30amps@120V. Being able to charge at 16 amps vs 12 amps (Nissan OEM charger) makes for about 33% faster charging when limited to 120V.

The first unit was missing the black carry bag. The second replacement had it...Unit is on version 8.0 of the software / frimware. Works with a Chevrolet Volt generation 2 (2017-2019) no issues. Limited 3.7kw charging rate! Don't be dumb 16amps needs 12gauge wire and correctly rated plugs... Eg: 16amps 120v will melt most 1875W rated extensions, powerbars or receptacles.A) cord length from unit to car is only 14ft!!! Enough to reach from house to far side of car if right accross and tucked up against the tires.B) cord from unit to wall receptacle is SHORT 18 inches and STJ rated flexibility to -4F or -20c. The unit is good down to -30C. Be careful in very cold areas if this is your portable solution. It will be hard and may fatigue and break.C) wild claim of 5 year quality assurance warranty. I hope that's true to help and protect everyone I included the attached item page with the claim highted. (Last image)D) the grommet for the wire pass through will catch and hold water if installed vertically will eventually leak. (2nd last image)E) instructions and warnings are all in "Chingrish" might be annoying and or funny depending. Controlling and setting the timer and amperage is fiddly but it remembers the settings. Long press to select and short to cycle options.

Make sure you have the correct plug on your wall. I already knew what I was getting. Other than that. It works great and a level1 or level 2 charger.
