I’ve had this charger cable for a couple of months and have used it at both the Level 1 and Level 2 charging rates. It works great at both levels and is exactly as described. (Heads-up for any other EV newbies like me: I had to get an adapter to connect the included NEMA 14-50 plug into my parents’ (NEMA 14-30) dryer outlet. The charger works well at Level 2 with the adapter. The adapter cost less than $20.)

This has taken the snow, hail, thawing and refreezing from my second floor balcony without issues. It fully charges my car within about 5-7 hours depending upon the charge level and weather. (2020 Hyundai Ioniq Electric; 38.3 kwh battery)I've gone as low as ~12% before using this, it's excellent. Even better, it's running safely through a proper extension cord and splitter (see my other reviews for them). I use this on my heavy driving days since my 240v is inside, behind my stove. I have no complaints, it works well.

This Portable Level 1 & 2 EV Charger is a total game-changer. It’s super versatile, offering both 240V 32A charging and a 26ft cable—plenty of length to reach wherever I park. No more range anxiety with this handy charger in the trunk!Setup is easy with the NEMA plug, and it delivers a solid 7.68kW, getting my EV juiced up faster than expected. Whether I’m at home or on the go, it’s reliable and portable. If you want flexibility and fast charging in one, this is a must-have for any EV owner. 🔋🚙

We purchased this as a travel charger to keep in the car for our BX4x. We bought it in The later half of October. We checked if it worked upon delivery which is did. We use it for the first time daily for one week the last week of November. In December when we went to use it again it failed to work. We tried it at our home and family member's home with the same results. It was a waste of money! and already out of the refund and exchange period. I should've just purchased from the dealership because now I'm out of this money.Do not buy!

I always keep a portable EVSE cord in my Chevy Bolt EUV, so when my original OEM cord stopped functioning reliably, I bought this one to keep in my vehicle. It works well and was a good value, but the bulk of it makes it very heavy and unwieldy. The cable itself is very thick and the 110 adaptor portion is very clunky (but very durable). My Chevrolet cord was a 110-220 cord, but so much easier to coil and store when done. The display on this cord is taking a bit of a beating from the cement flooring, as I use it primarily to charge while I'm at work in the parking garage.Besides being a solid value, the cord is about 12 inches longer than my original cord, so very beneficial when I am unable to park in the space nearest to the 110v outlet.

I bought this charger to leave in a vacation home so I can charge rental cars while I am there. Used a 120 volt 15 amp circuit to charge at 13 amps & a 240 volt 30 amp circuit to charge at 24 amp (Cloths dryer circuit). Especially like that the unit displayed the charging rate, KWH consumed & temp of unit. Overall I am very pleased with the charger.

We took delivery of our Rivian R1T at the end of November, and I have been using this charger for home use. We had the NEMA 15-50R outlet installed in our garage and the unit works just fine with the Rivian! I use the Rivian's on-board charging timer to charge during specific hours and to pull no more than 32amps.I found that when I did not set the amps in the R1T to be no more than the charger could handle (the truck will take up to 48 amps), the charging would error out on occasion. The only thing I would recommend is to mount the NEMA adapter higher on the wall than the minimum stated in the instructions. The cables are THICK and do not flex all that well; mounting the socket higher would have allowed for a better cable alignment of the unit.

Even though the product details say the cable can work between -13 and 113 degrees, it stopped working for me in pretty ordinary cold weather, somewhere around 40 degrees (Fahrenheit). In warmer temps it was great - good length, solid thickness, plug-and-play use with no problems. But once it got cold, it stopped delivering power. It starts working again if I bring it inside for a few hours to warm back up, but that's really a pain and not consistent with the advertised specifications.

Works flawlessly for me and great for the price. Some reviewers mention having to fuss around with the settings. I didn't have any issues. I plugged it in, it sensed the power available and started charging at 32 amps. No input required by me. Great price. I also like that it allows for 120volt charging too. (Although that will take forever). It's nice for an emergency.

It's a pretty good charger. You can delay charging for up to 10 Hrs but once started it will keep charging until the battery is charged to its set limit. Nice long 26' cable. Very thick so it can handle up to 32 Amps at 240V (7.68KW) so charging from 20% to 80% in my 77.4KW battery would take approximately 6 Hrs. which is perfectly acceptable. I'll probably set it 24A as it'll be charging during the night and I won't have to worry about heat build up. You can set it to charge at 6, 8, 10, 13, 16, 20, 24, and 32A at either 117V or 240V. I haven't got my 240V set up yet but it worked fine with the 117V adapter although it took a L-O-N-G time! For the price I don't think you can do better than this. It's nicely made and works well. Recommended.***UPDATE***It's now a few weeks later. I have my 240V Level 2 installed. Results are great. Charging is much faster and the outlet and charger remain quite cool at 24A charging rate. Even unplugging the charger maintains the amperage setting. So far it's working just great. I could not be happier especially considering the sale price.

Bought this because my Ford charger only charges at 30A. Most dryer ports are rated for 30A and you should never exceed 80% of the breaker's limit. This charger can step down to 24A and even 16A. Level 2 charging at 24A is plenty fast for me, love this thing!
