This a great charger if you don't have the panel space for much more power. I installed #8 gage stranded wire on a 40 amp breaker. The charger shows the amp draw in real time, instructions state a 32 amp draw as the charger rating, and it checks out almost exactly. Used charger to charge KIA EV9 Wind, at 38% battery it took 8 hours and 9 minutes to get to 100%. The charger gives a display of electricity used, 60.58 kwh was used on an 8 hour charge. This is an excellent information readout for someone who is trying to keep track of the energy used for their electric car. I did notice that the charger has to be unplugged and reset on occasion in order for the car to recognize it., car issue...not charger issue. Excellent product for the price.

This charger was exactly what I wanted. No app, no WIFI just plug it in and you can set a timer if you choose. Also it has a wall mount which was easy to install. I charge at 32 amps but I wanted the ability to go to 40. At 32 amps it charges around 25 miles an hour at a consistent rate of around 7 kw which is fine for the driving I do. Very good price and so far consistent and reliable.

I didn't get to use it right away due to my free charging at the Tesla superchargers. Per other reviews, 32A gets me around 30 miles per hour. Which is fine, since I charge at night due to lower kwh rate.I did have to buy an adapter to be able to plug it to the dryer outlet. Cost me an extra $20, but worth it! It also helps that I have solar/battery for my home. Happy with my purchase.

The ability to set so many different charging rates. Readout gives you more information than any other charger I've owned. Very nice carrying case. High quality charging cable. Charges at the full capacity of the current rate that's selected.

The locking lever on the plug going to the EV is attached with plastic brackets, both of which broke less than six months after I got the unit. I only use it about twice per week. I contacted the manufacturer, trying to get a replacement part which I would install myself, and they have not responded. I've resorted to attaching it with duct tape. I won't buy from this manufacturer again.

Want a portable EV charger that matches your need, this is certainly an option. I just unboxed it and plugged it into my 240 vac 50 amp plugged and it was ready to charge. Mine is 40amps, but there are several amps ranges to meet you EV requirements. It come with a storage bag that keeps it portable if or my away from home charging needs. You can find various plug adaptors to use from 20, 30, 50 amps available on Amazon to meet special needs. But my stock use is 40 amp and it charges my batteries up from 61% to 100% in just 4 hrs. Very pleased. Strongly recommend this charger.

Purchased this after the first charger (other make) I purchased was dead on arrival. This has all the features of the mor expensive model but works well. The power outlet side of the cable is a little short but still worth it.
