Once I received the charger , I quickly realized that a much larger input ( the female ) is needed to plug the charging device in from your home. Once I received that part and it was installed, my Tesla model 3 has been charging without issue ever since when at @40-59% battery life . I charge in under 3 hours, during this cold winter month. This was a great investment.

Great product, this charger gets about 10 to 12 more miles an hour to the charge than the Tesla portable charger with the Nema 14-50 connection cord. This will definitely save you a little more time with home overnight quick daily charges, overall averaging between 30-35 miles per hour of charge time.

I haven't had any issues at all charging my 2022 Tesla Model 3 over the last two weeks. The push button to open the door works extremely well compared to other chargers. There is a nice rubber cap to put over the end of the wand when not in use or in storage. The carrying case is very similar to the Tesla mobile charger case. Overall, it does exactly what I need it to do. The cables seem very flexible and easy to work and hang.

This was an upgrade from the 16 amp charger we had before. it requires a 240v outlet so we kept the smaller 16amp 110 to use as a mobile charger that stays in the car but this 40A charger gets us to a full charge in just a couple of hours compared to overnight for the 16a charger.
