Overall I would give this a 4.75. the main positives are the outstanding packing they use, solid setup and quality assurance and hi quality provisions they provide. while not perfect, for the price point, it feels outsanding.Personality I would feel that the package would be made better if it was sold with the mini amp (not required, but nice) and a shoulder rest and I do feel that it could round out the package if they also provided a learning guidebook to go with it.honestly can only nitpick. its a good enough instrument to perform in front of others and even can be played like an acoustic just to practice or for the people in your room.

I've played classic violin for almost 40 years. The quality of this instrument is really great!!!! First time playing it was vibratoing like a well seasoned instrument!NOTE TO BUYERS!!!! This is not a silent electric violin - even if you have the headphones plugged in, others can still hear the instrument being played. This is just like a classic violin, except it has the plug-in to make this electric so you can enhance the sound with an amp and pedals. The violin, bow, and case are of great quality. The amp is cute, and just a fun addition to the package but not the greatest of quality. The strings that came with it are OK quality, and I was surprised to see they threw in an extra set.The violin came with a quality check list, everything was in perfect condition. I'm so please with my purchase and I think you will be too!!!!This violin is great for both the season player or a new player!!!

I purchased This violin in order to be able to play in my college dorm. When I saw that it was a clearance model, I was a bit wary that it may not be of utmost quality or look. But my fears were completely assuaged. It is an awesome violin that I truly love. Kennedy hooked me up with everything I need, and their warranty is just fantastic.

What I liked about my violin is that my Bunnel Next came set up and ready to play. I loved the tone of the violin and I think it is a good bargain. What I did not like was I had to go out during the pandemic to get a 9 volt battery for my amp.

Playable right out of the box. I bought last 2 on clearance- will give them to my twins when they start playing. The bow was good quality for the money. I will look for another on clearance for myself soon. A great deal- I recommend Kennedy Violins and will be back for more.
