I had bought the straight pair of these pliers and liked them so much I got the angled set. They don't take off every plug but they are very handy on the 90% of connectors they do work on. I am a professional technician and any tool that makes my job easier and/or quicker is welcome in my toolbox. These fit that bill.

These things work great. You will definitely run into situations where they simply won't fit. But, when you can reach with them they are a pleasure to use. Absolutely worthwhile buy in my opinion.

I've already got the straight electrical connector disconnect for a while now, and it has always been my go-to when it comes to handling electrical connectors. This 60-degree version is a blessing because it adds versatility to work with hard to reach areas. A major place I always get a headache at is working with the front or rear bumpers, or at times, working under an intake manifold. A whole lot of connectors are stubborn and hard to reach, with very limited space. This 60-degree bend allows for more versatility to maneuver in and out of tight spaces and articulate the plier to pull the plugs out. Also the double-head separator comes very handy especially with a lot of the modern vehicle connectors where there's a lock-tab. Many a time the lock tab gets pushed out, but pinching it doesn't really allow the base lock to disengage. A double-head tool like this does the trick well since it does release the base lock fully. I've only been using the straight double-head tool so far, but I can already name a few where the reverse double-head tool can come in handy too.All in all, this set really compliments my tool collection very well, I'm so much more relieved now knowing with these two tools, I can just about tackle all electrical connectors. And on older cars where the tabs can break off easily, these tools do help me to carefully deal with those and try not to snap the brittle plastic off. Great tools. Will keep an eye out for more variations of these electrical connector separators.

The Guweta 37980 electrical disconnect pliers have quickly become one of my go-to tools for automotive repairs. The 60-degree angled design makes it incredibly easy to access tight spaces around electrical connectors and fuel lines, allowing for smooth and efficient disassembly. Whether I'm working on spark plugs, electrical plugs, or fuel line connections, these pliers do a fantastic job of securely disconnecting components without causing damage. The build quality is solid, with sturdy handles that provide a comfortable, non-slip grip, ensuring precision and control during use. The jaws are sharp and designed to handle the pressure needed for disconnecting connectors, and I appreciate the versatility these pliers offer across a variety of automotive electrical and mechanical tasks. They make removing connectors much easier compared to standard tools, especially when working on older or stubborn parts.Overall, I highly recommend the Guweta 37980 electrical disconnect pliers. They offer great performance, durability, and ease of use, making them an essential tool for anyone working on automotive electrical systems or general vehicle maintenance.

These are a decent set of disconnect pliers...and should work for most applications.Sometimes it's hard to get two hands in an area to pull and push down on the connector while you're pulling. These are easier to maneuver than my giant man hands.I'm kidding...my hands aren't giant. They're normal hands....but it's still hard to get them into some of the areas I have to work on in my mail Jeep. One thing that I'm going to do, though, is look for an angled set to supplement these. The more options I have for reaching some of this stuff the better.Good tool...should last a lifetime.

I like the set. It came packaged on cardboard with a molded plastic overlay that was easy to open. I would put the fit & finish on par with HF.The plyer shape seems to work well for hard to reach connectors. Allowing much more leverage than trying to squeeze releases while holding your hand and arm in awkward positions. The red tool works well for sliding under the external release tabs/fingers. Unlike a screwdriver, they do not over extend the tabs and break them off. The tines are ramped and slide up under nicely. Worked well for me on headlight bulb connectors.A win for my toolbox!
