Review for the 12V operating model (using with an Arduino)relays take very little signal current to trigger --- ~600uA @ 5V. very nice. board can run off 9V as well. each relay draws roughly 400mA. I have 2 of these boards and 1 spare.survived winter with 3 days in a row sub-freezing temps and sunny summers sometimes 100°F+

Electronics-Salon 8 Channel DPDT 5Vdc trigger. awesome compact relay board. 2- relays per trigger. using in both hot and cold environment within a life safety system which is tested weekly, all ports tested weekly.Recommend for DIY and professional system design.

Worked well initially, but the relays stuck after a few weeks, although the load current was half of the rated value of the relay on the board.

These are very nice boards. Cleanly soldered and well assembled. Beware however, of the very small wire connectors. If you use wire ferrules, the wire you can actually use is very, very small. (24 AWG) This makes it all very delicate as the wires, even in ferrules, can break very easily. I would have liked to see board connectors that can handle a larger wire gauge. Other than that, very nice boards and the DIN mount carriers round out a nice assembly.

I used this to control old Nutone door chimes with an Arduino controller to play different melodies for the doorbell.

Board shipped non functional. Every relay was bad. After removing them, and replacing them with new relays, the board worked. These boards are for sure not tested before they go out. Buy at your own risk, and only if you are good at debugging.

I used two of these in a reversing control system for use in a Digger Derrick truck. The old system was sporadic and manual and now it is remote control. The dpdt relays are perfect for polarity reversing.

This is perfect for my application, but the bad connectors have now cost me two day's worth of troubleshooting. I'm returning it, but I wish I could bill these guys for my time. Don't trust it with anything important.
