...might be a sign that this thing isn't up to snuff. Junk hardware and sloppy tolerances reinforce the notion. I didn't actually test it. Because my Bosch Colt PR20EVS (pretty common palm router) did not fit.

This aluminum router insert plate is particularly beneficial as an insert for either a homemade router table or one of the plastic tables. Most metal tables typically have inserts or tabletops that are at least as good as this one, so there is not much advantage in purchasing this plate for those setups.The insert itself is solid and well-designed, making it easy to mount, especially in a homemade router table that can be readily adapted for it. The fence is of good quality, featuring clear markings, being easy to adjust, and maintaining its position once adjusted.Overall, this is a decent aluminum router table insert; however, as mentioned earlier, it is most useful for home-built router tables or more affordable plastic tables. The product description and photos are accurate, and it arrived in two days. If I needed another insert for a homemade table, I would consider getting this again.

It's well made; I just don't know what router this would fit. I might make an adapter plate for it in the future, but if you have a 2.5hp Skill or Dewalt 20v, this isn't for you.
