Very shiny looking material. It's not quite patent PU shiny but it's a little glossier than I'd like. The arms are long! I got a 2/3 years size and my tall-for-her-size toddler still needs the arms rolled. If the quality is good enough to withstand the upcoming season it will be great to grow into.

My 8 year old daughter managed to break the zipper the first time she wore it. She wanted a jacket that looked like Cruella De Ville and this was great for that in look and price. I helped her zip it for school and she said once she got there she couldn’t get it off again and the teacher had to pull it over her head. She must have really yanked it because 2 of the zipper teeth were broken so it was beyond repair. This jacket is probably fine if you have a child who will be patient and not yank the zipper. I’m giving 3 stars because it totally could have been user error.
