After looking at the specs of all similar products on Amazon and elsewhere, I picked this one based on size, power, and design. And it didn’t disappoint. The design is better than any competitor (it looks like art, people don’t know what it is). It heats up in 2 mins! A grilled cheese takes 2-3 mins and it’s bubbling! (It can handle a slice of lunch meat in with the cheese but nothing thicker). The plates pop out cleanly, and can be wiped of any crustiness with a finger (we sponge them)! Haven’t tried the waffle plates but I assume the same. Used everyday for last 3 weeks for kids lunchbox. This thing is gold. Only nitpicks: the plate is a 1/2†short of a standard bread slice, so you need to trim one side of your bread first. And I wish it included a 3rd set of plates that make the triangle shaped sandwich pockets. But really who cares, it’s perfect. And everyone who visits comments and loves it. Just don’t expect a panini maker, it isn’t that. It’s a tiny, fast, inexpensive, beautiful waffle and grilled cheese maker.

I will say, this is for mini omelettes only (one egg per side), but it’s perfect for me, it works just as described, cleans and stores easily.

I bought this from reviews. I love kitchen gadgets. I also need to count calories so maybe being smaller is better. If you take 4 large eggs that’s about all it will hold I found if you want to add some toppings only use 3 eggs and you’ll still overfill it. It cooks a little hot. The top and bottom will start to brown in 5 minutes and inside will just be cooked. I can live with that but my wife doesn’t like any brown or crust on her eggs. I found mixing a little mashed potato in hers makes it acceptable. Taste is personal and if you don’t cook this is great for making an excellent egg dish. If you cook it’s not an omelet and more of a baked frittata. I’ll figure out other uses because I love kitchen gadgets

This product was used..it was dirty very disgusting. Will not buy from this manufacturer ever!. So now I have to be inconvenienced to repack and drive 2o minutes to a a ups store to return.

El aparato es muy pequeño. Se derrama el huevo, a no ser que se haga en pequeñas cantidades y pocos ingredientes. Se tarda mucho en cocinar el omlette y no importa si se aplica mantequilla y aceite, se pega. Es complicado sacar el omelette y queda el aparato muy sucio. Limpiarlo es complicado. En general, no lo recomiendo.
