The wooden letters are amazing - very sturdy and accurate.I use the wooden letters to make learning materials for my shop on Etsy. A Montessori Shop is the name. I don't need the boxes.Where can I get just the letters?

Affordable and durable movable alphabet! There are 10 of each vowel (letters are in blue) and 5 of each consonant (letters in red). The letters are about an inch long (photo for reference) with the exception of wider/longer letters like “m†and “yâ€. It is as pictured and comes with the sectioned box and lid. Note that the dots for letters “i†and “j†are separated and not joined together as one letter so keep it in mind if that’s not preferential to you (other movable alphabets out there have them joined together). This has been a great resource for our home and I know it’ll last a long time!! I have already referred so many friends and coteachers to this exact listing and already 4 of them just bought it!

Love these letters! It makes reading practice so fun for my kindergartner. I wish it came with uppercase letters too.

I wanted some letters that were more organized for my child who struggles with writing to be able to practice spelling.I had some Scrabble tiles, but there were too many and were too overwhelming. These letters are very sturdy, just the right size, and I love that they are in their own little boxes so my student can easily find the letters he needs to build a word.

I’ve been eyeing this particular item for a while now and I’m so happy that I got it when amazon had another 20% discount on the warehouse items. I bought it as “used-like new†and was happy that I did because other than a really small defect on the container, all the letters are still in the polybag and looks new. I’m also impressed with the thickness of the letters because I thought they were thin looking at the photos on the site. Happy with the purchase!

I appreciate the painted control in each compartment so my students can easily find where each letter belongs (especially with the n and u!). This is one of my favorite moveable alphabets I've encountered in my 12 years in Montessori.

First time customer of Elite Montessori. Nice and sturdy set of alphabets. I am picky about chemicals in wood products and this exceeded my expectations. Other reviewers mentioned fumes but I didn't smell any. I tested the product with a formaldehyde meter and it tested "healthy". Will shop with this company again if other products are of similar quality and price.

I like the letter sizes, the fact that vowels are a different color. I like the fact that the lid fits on top and underneath for easy shelf display. I like that each spot has a printed letter underneath so kids can match where to put it back. I like that the letters come in little baggies so we can store extras to not have too many pieces out if not needed yet. I do not like that i and j have a separate tiny dot as it’s not safe for younger ones around bigger kids. I probably could have noticed that if I read this page carefully. We are exited to use it!
