Zip off hood, wide storm flap to help keep wind and rain out, good number of pockets interior and exterior most of which zip up, protection of neck from the cold and rain. Very well designed, warm rain jacket. The only possible flaw the very lightweight zippers. If there are going to problems with a jacket, lightweight zippers on the front and the zip off hood. Otherwise, a lot of coat for the money. I am very pleased.

The coat is nice and warm. The shell of it makes it water resistant. Everything seems well put together. It fits well and is comfortable. The only thing I really don't like is the big logo on it of a made-up brand.

I was skeptical about purchasing this coat because of some of the negative reviews. However, given the budget I am currently on, it was the only one that seemed like it would suit our needs within my price range. I am very happy with my decision to take a gamble on it. We've had some really cold days here in Nebraska recently and this coat has kept my son warm while we wait for the bus to arrive. The inside lining is a faux fur material and very insulating. The zipper slides up and down smoothly and the optional hood is a nice feature. My son is very large for his age but the 2X fits him well. I really thought I was going to have trouble finding an affordable coat that would provide adequate warmth but this one is just perfect.
