This is a great wood filler. Works as intended. Get a putty knife to help fill in the hole and a light sander block for when it dries and you're good to go. I used to fill holes in a door. If you need paint to be matched just take a box cutter to the door if possible (we have cheap doors,k?) Cut a good quarter sized chunk out and take it to the paint shop to get matched. Putty in any holes. Everything will be purple which is amusing. It dries a light tan color. After 24 hours, sand it then paint. Bam, brand new.

Used the wood filler to turn an armed wood chair to an armless chair. It sanded and filled everything perfectly. It just dried out sooner than I expected in the tub.

This is a great product for a woodworking person to fill in cracks and holes on what they’re working with. This particular bottle is pretty small, but it helped me finish the project that I was working on. I would highly recommend it.

Was a little hesitant buying this product since haven't had much luck with wood putty matching or being easy to apply in the past. Then I was really surprised to see was a pink color. But it was very easy to apply. Was just like mud on drywall. Dried overnight to a tan color that was darker than my white Pine. But after sanding it I was really surprised that it not only matched my white pine that it was very hard to see what was really the wood and what was really the wood puddy. This is extremely important to my project since I'm not staining this wood. I'm just going to put a clear poly coat to protect it. Very very impressed with this product.

A dresser was literally missing a chunk of wood from a recent move. DYI I used this to fill the huge damage, sanded it and painted it. Worked great. Im so pleased!

This filler dries very quickly and there is not a lot of time to spread before it begins to stiffen. Once it completely dries and is sanded, beware it is soft. Meaning if you remove the dust of the sanded surface with a damp cloth, it could wipe some of the dried puddy away too. Similar in cleaning unpainted applied dried mud off sheet rock. You have to be very gentle. Frankly I have used better brands of filler. Won't buy again.

After seeing a few woodworker reviews online expressing how much they love this product, I decided to give it a shot. I mean, how good could Elmer's be? That's kid's stuff, right? Wrong. This product is, BY FAR, the best wood filler I've ever used. It's smooth (not grainy), incredibly easy to work with, and drys SUPER fast (bring a cup of water and a small putty knife). You can also keep re-hydrating it until it's exactly as you'd like it (so long as it hasn't completely hardened yet. Once it's totally hard it won't go back).
