This product worked well. I was expecting a more "solid" putty, I found this to be a bit loose/watery. It was not a problem but it made it harder to handle on vertical repairs.Once the product dries, it can be sanded and stained. It does fill up well wood cracks and dents.

I’ve used a lot of “fillers” for various things and found this while looking for a wood filler to fill several large holes in some rotted trim. I dislike the fillers that dry almost immediately from solvent evaporation because of the chemical inhalation exposure and the are difficult to clean off tools and especially the fingers if it get on you. This filler looked interesting as it’s water cleanup and the container is more than large enough for my immediate project. Being water based I figured this won’t dry out and be no good the next time I need it. It spreads smoothly and dries fairly quickly. Very easy cleanup.

PRODUCT/THOUGHTS:This includes a large 35 oz jar of walnut-stained wood putty, two pieces of sandpaper, plastic gloves, and two plastic tools for applying the putty. It hardens and can be sanded and stained. Basic instructions are included on the outside of the box. It is important to note, this is the first step of repairing your wood. If your wood has wood details, these will need to be drawn back in over the puddy, before a stain is applied.
