I recently used Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler to fix a few gouges and cracks on a wooden table, and I’m very impressed with the results. The 16-ounce tub offers a good amount of product, and the natural color blends well with the wood, leaving a smooth and seamless finish. The formula is incredibly easy to spread, and I appreciated how quickly it dried. For smaller cracks, it only took about an hour to dry to the touch, and for deeper holes, I let it dry for a couple of hours before sanding. The sandability is fantastic—using a medium grit sandpaper gave me a smooth, flawless surface to paint and stain. After finishing, the repairs looked professional, like nothing had ever been damaged. What I love about this filler is its shrink and crack resistance. It didn’t shrink back after drying, and it didn’t develop any cracks, which is important for long-lasting repairs. I also found it very convenient that it’s water-resistant, so I can confidently use it for both interior and exterior projects. However, I did ensure that I coated it with exterior paint for outdoor use, as recommended. The tight-lock container is a nice touch, keeping the filler fresh for later use. It’s also very easy to clean up—tools and hands wash off easily with soap and water before the filler fully dries.Overall, I’m highly satisfied with the Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler. Whether you need it for quick DIY fixes or larger projects, it’s a reliable and durable solution that delivers professional results. I’ll definitely keep this product in my toolbox for future repairs!

Had a friends dog over that decided to chew some trim on the edge of one of my doors. I debated replacing the trim or repairing, ultimately deciding to try and repair first. I bought this for the project. I cleaned up the area by removing all loose material. When I first started adding this product, I was disappointed. It wasn't as "sticky" as I hoped and it seemed dry as others have mentioned. I ended up applying more than I needed, expected to sand it down later. After applied I was worried it wasn't going to stick and all chip out as soon as I started sanding. I gave it overnight. The next day I was very surprised and impressed. This is as close to "real" wood as I have seen. Some magic happened during the drying process. It was very had and adhered extremely well. I was able to both sand and sort of sculpt / chisel / scrap to match the shape of the original trim. I ended up adding some additional material and it bonded much better to the original dried layer of it's own material. I'm handy but no pro and felt this was perfect for the job. Just painted my first coat over it and it seems to be exactly what I needed. The repair is unnoticeable unless you get very close. I can imagine it's only easier / better for small jobs and patching smaller holes.

I bought this product to fix some window trim after my dog scratched it up, and overall, I’m happy with the results. The filler itself works well, drying in about two hours and painting over nicely for a clean finish. However, I did run into a few issues. The sanding block included in the kit wasn’t very effective, so I ended up using my own grit sandpaper, which worked much better. Also, since I was fixing a vertical wall, I had trouble getting the filler to stay in place, but once it dried, the sanding and smoothing process went smoothly. While the kit could use a more reliable sander, the wood filler itself is great for repairs, especially if you’re prepared to use your own sanding supplies. If you’re working on a project where the surface isn’t flat, keep in mind it may be a little tricky to keep the filler in place.

My pup chewed up 5 areas of baseboards (4 of them corners). This stuff worked great!I searched for wood filler and was a little nervous because of a lot of complaints with people receiving a dried out tub. Not only on this item, but many others. Mine was fine.I found that using a spray bottle to mist the tub (or the area I’m working on) made the putty much easier to work with. Dries hard and seems like it’ll last. I used some sanding sponges a couple days later and love the outcome. Two of corners that had more extensive damage needed a second application. I’ll be painting soon!

It comes as a relatively dry, grainy/sandy consistency. Add water if it’s too dry. Kneading will make it more smooth. It takes a little more work to form what you need and blow off the extra sandy flakes, but it dried to a very hard wood in 24hrs and sands well. I did multiple layers to form some areas that were lost from this frame. Pics are prior to sanding. It’s a great, although different, wood putty. The thing I like most is that it doesn’t crack with drying!!! Winner!!! And no smell that I noticed

This filler has been a fantastic addition to my DIY toolkit. This 16-ounce tub of natural wood filler is perfect for a variety of wood repair projects. The consistency is smooth and easy to apply, allowing for seamless filling of cracks, holes, and imperfections in wood surfaces. One of the things I appreciate most is how well it blends with natural wood. Once sanded and stained or painted, the repairs are virtually invisible, giving a professional finish to my projects. The filler dries quickly and hardens well, providing a durable repair that can withstand further sanding and finishing. The only minor downside is that it can dry out if the lid is not sealed properly, so be sure to close it tightly after each use to maintain its usability.I believe this is a reliable and high-quality product that every DIYer should have. Its ease of use, excellent blending properties, and durability make it a top choice for wood repairs. Highly recommended for anyone looking to achieve professional results in their woodworking projects.

Once I figured out how to properly apply the filler (I used small hobby sticks to forcibly push the filler into cracks and joints), this product, once dried, worked well with the sanding and shaping of my plywood projects. Definitely worth the money.

Been using it to clean up some 3d prints for cosplay props. Works well, can manipulate with a gloved finger for a great finish. Sands well and paints great. Must have for those prints that need a little repair, or to be fully packed.
