I’ve restored many historical home interiors. Nothing does as good as this product when it comes to ease of use, sanding and shrink/crack resistance. Found it for sale once at a cabinet display shop. Amazon has the best price. Stock up because when ya need it you don’t want to wait for delivery.

When I read reviews that mentioned how hard the container is to open the first time, I thought that was a trivial problem, not worth mentioning. It wasn't. Opening the container the first time is a chore, but it's well worth the effort. This is the best wood filler I have ever used. Very little, if any, shrinkage. Easy to spread, easy to sand, stands up well outside in high temperatures. Painting is is easy and provides great results. I haven't needed to stain it or drill it or nail into it, so I can't comment on those characteristics. Don't hesitate. Great product.

This wood filler is hands down the best I’ve ever used, and it's the only one I trust for all my projects. It dries in just 15 minutes and can be sanded, drilled, or nailed without any issues. It never shrinks, crumbles, or cracks, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. However, my recent purchase from this seller,TheHardwareCityCom, was disappointing. The filler had large patches of mold on the top, which I had to scrape off, and it had a strange smell. Despite that, the filler performed flawlessly as usual, but the mold was off-putting.

This product was recommended to me by a friend who does a lot of woodworking. He actually showed me how it works by filling in an edge dent in the backrest of an antique chair I have. Sorry that I didn’t remember to take a before pic. After letting it dry and sanding it just a little, I painted over it and you can’t see the dent! I usually allow it to set up a little, then put a dab of water on my finger to smooth out the surface better. Times will vary depending on depth of filled surface. I usually start with 15 mins when a thick application is needed. I like this better than wood filler for most wood projects. Be Aware that it dries white. It is stainable but not sure how good it would do on lighter woods.

I've been woodworking for 30 years and never heard of this brand until a few months ago while watching a video and it was recommended. This stuff is so creamy I was blown away, it's like whipped butter. Fills finishing nail holes and small gaps on the first pass, dries super hard in about 15 minutes and sands down easier than any filler I've ever used. The amount you get for the price you pay is insane. This is my new go-to filler.

This review is in regard to FamoWood 40022126 Latex Wood Filler - Pint, Natural 24 Oz.This is a great product and fully deserves a five star review. It hardens, sands and paints similar to woodOne thing I did learn the hard way is that this product should not be applied much more than a 1/4" deep in one setting or it will not dry well. It will instead tend to crack and remain pliable when touched. If you apply it as instructed it works wonderfully.It can be layered one application over another, completed over a few days time, which I ended up doing out of necessity, to a depth of nearly an 1.5", height of 2.5" and width of 3.5"I used this near the bottom of an exterior doorway casing, just above the threshold, where it had rotted from water seepage, and it worked beautifullyThe bottom line is this is one of the best wood fillers I have ever used, and I highly recommend it

This product worked great and was easy to use for a repair to a barstool that was broken. I first used a wood hardener where a piece had broken off and left a splintered edge, then applied this product to fill the gap left from the broken off piece of wood. This was an area in which a screw went through and after the fix, I was able to run the screw through this repair and it held great.

I really like using this putty. It dries nice and sands easily. This container was damaged when I received it so some of the putty was hardened in the container. It wasn’t damaged in shipping. So the company sent it out damaged.

Very happy with this wood filler. Easy to use, clean & sand. On deeper filling it does sink in and take two applications as stated in instructions. Where possible I left the deeper spots over night but it's true to the instructions of sanding after 15 minutes. We used cabinet paint over it, took nicely. I filled round holes for shelves as we repurposed the unit. Took two fills and sanding but they are completely hidden. Will also be using for outdoor deck but haven't gotten to that yet... will update. Highly recommend so far, pleasure to use. Tad smelly but fine with window and door open.

I used this filler to fill in spots on a Cedar log home. It went on very easy and smooth compared to another filler that I used and it dried very hard. One coat of stain over was enough. The only bad thing that I have to say is when I wanted to order another 5000g bucket it was out of stock.

Muy buen producto, es muy fácil de utilizar y rinde muy bien. Parece ser poco, pero si se sabe aplicar, rinde bien, también llega a secar, se puede agregar poca agua y funciona bien.

After watching too many You Tube videos I decided to update my bathroom. Taking the commonalities from the professionals I knew I had to fill in my oak before I could paint if I wanted a smooth finish. I used two coats on most of the pieces and three on the large, upright pieces, those that would be most visible. It was easy to apply and sand off. I did dilute it with water as advised by one of the You Tubers. I am very pleased with the result, particularly since this was my first significant diy project other than painting.
