I like how this special pillow positions my head better while sleeping. I was using a standard memory foam pillow and noticed how I was using only the corner. I'm in my first year of being diagnosed with sleep apnea and struggled to keep my mouth closed when using nasal headgear. This pillow has that raised ridge on the bottom and my chin rests there when sleeping on my side. This would have helped early on while learning to keep my mouth closed when sleeping. It's a very comfortable pillow. The cover can be laundered and there is a zipper on the back of the pillow... I still put a pillow case over it just to keep it looking good. The foam inside this CPAP pillow is pristine white and an extra piece of foam is included, though this is working for me right out of the box. The pillow arrived vacuum sealed and the box has a sticker that says if that seal is broken, it cannot be sold so you know you're getting a fresh pillow. I wish I had discovered this awesome pillow sooner in my sleep apnea journey...

I struggled with finding the right pillow to use with my CPAP. I use the nose pillows so I can't speak for headsets that cover your entire mouth. But for my use, this pillow works great. It especially excels for side sleepers using a CPAP or if you side sleep and have the older style CPAP vent where the air comes out just below your nose. That's because the shape of this pillow is tapered at both the short ends, allowing your CPAP to vent well while side sleeping.I thought the pillow might be problematic for stomach sleepers because it does have a hump at one of the bottom (long edge) of the pillow. This hump is the "cervical" part of the pillow and it works really well for side and back sleepers but after I tried it, I will say that feature did not bother me at all for stomach sleeping. In fact, I liked that cervical hump feature a lot for stomach sleeping because it allows my spine to gradually incline up to the pillow by propping up my chest slightly. This helped me relieve some back pain.If you rotate the pillow 180 degrees, then the cervical hump is now at the top, you get a slightly different experience because that side is more flat. This is a good feature to have, just in case you wake up and have had enough of the cervical hump for the night. Just rotate and hit the hey again. The pillow comes with a zippered case and an extra foam pad you can use to raise up the center part of the pillow slightly. The pad is about an inch thick but probably raises your head fractionally after your head compresses it when sleeping. I inserted this pad and thought it worked for me. The instructions give details about various colored pads you can add to achieve different firmness levels but my package only came with one extra white pad. There is an existing pad already installed but both are white and the instructions clearly detail what color is more or less firm so I'm a little confused on that subject. One downside, of this pillow is it is asymmetrical lengthwise. Basically, the cervical hump is present on only one side of the length of the pillow. So if you have night sweats and flip your pillow over, you won't have the same contour on the back side of the pillow. Also, if you rotate the pillow 180 degrees, the cervical hump is now not under your neck but at the top of your head. I just have my old pillow that I use if I get the night sweats.Unpackaging this you will note security stickers on both ends of the box so you will know if you are getting a new product. Very nice touch. Also, I didn't notice any weird smells that some memory foams give off. I just unpackaged my pillow and let it decompress for a day before using it.

ETA- 3/2/25 have been sleeping on only this pillow for the past few weeks and my neck and upper back have been feeling a lot better the past few weeks. I find I’m not waking up to readjust my pillow as I was before. And the ‘before’ one was a “good” one. This is so much more comfortable and I wake up feeling so much better!!The past couple years I’ve slept on a brand name adjustable bed (you know the store) and pillow from that store, too. One similar in shape to this… have been having some neck issues and some upper back/behind my shoulder issues. I wake up often to move to a “better spot”… last night? I didn’t wake up once! I feel great this morning. This pillow is so comfortable! It is very firm to keep your head in the position you chose… there are varying heights on the different sides… I tried a few out last night then went to sleep on the spot that felt the best… I seriously wouldn’t have even woken up when I did this morning but my dog was whining to go potty… and was after 8am! I often wake up on my own when it is still dark bc I need to get up and move around. This pillow rocks!!

I've been using a soft memory foam cervical pillow for years. It's not sold anymore and I've worried about what would replace it. I have a lot of neck comfort issues and now use a CPAP. I'm quite surprised at how well the 'Elviros Cervical Neck CPAP Pillow' is working for me. It feels soft while offering good support. There are pieces you can take out or add if you need to change the softness of the pillow. I'm using it the way it was shipped. It popped up right away into it's normal shape, so it's not over-compressed like a rock when you get it. I let it air out for a day, then was able to use it, so no strong smell. I'm using it with a silk pillow case over it and that works fine. I sleep on my sides and back over the course of the night and find the pillow comfortable in either position. It has an extra neck support for back sleeping that works well for me. When I sleep on my side, I sleep on the edge of this pillow and it works well for not over-compressing the CPAP part on my face.I'm sleeping deeply with this pillow and recommend it.

I use a CPAP/APAP and struggled as a side sleeper until i found this pillow.I use a CPAP/APAP (Philips Respironics if it matters) and have struggled as a side sleeper to find a mask that gets me enough air and is still comfortable enough to wear to ensure I don't feel strangled or restrained in my sleep. I was skeptical as to how a pillow could help with that but this certainly cradles my neck nicely both on my back as well as on my side. I have even noticed while using this pillow on my back that I don't snore nearly as much. If a device helps keep your airway open while sleeping it is always a great value. This pillow is made from quality materials and functions as advertised. The design allows you to use "regular pillow cases" to match your sheets and not look like a medical device.
