This is my second EMG I've put on a jumbo Acoustic. And it work very well. EMG as always makes a great product. By the way this went on a 1980's cj-818SB Yamaha jumbo. Sounds Great works great, and easy to install. Would highly recommend.

We put an ACS in my wife's handmade Tony Yamamoto Talus. Now, the Talus, and my Yamamoto OOO are about the best tone acoustically that one could get (and I have had LOTS of very high end acoustic guitars thru the years). It's a really tall order to find a pickup that is true to the wonderful acoustic sound of these guitars. Because I have been using EMG Retro Active T-52 Telecaster pickups in the guitars I build (they are awesome pickups!), I thought we'd try the ACS in her guitar. It sounds amazingly true to the guitar's actual voice thru our Bose L1 Compact PA. So true that I just ordered one for my OOO, and ditching both the K & K system and the Fishman Rare Earth humbucker soundhole pickup that has been my favorite pickup and workhorse for many years! Yep, the ACS is THAT much better!!!

This is one of the best acoustic magnetic pickups on the market. I like it as much as the baggs m1 and the sunrise. Take the B string magnet out completely for balance. Like all acoustic pickups, it sounds best when blended. Just run two lines out and blend in a preamp like the solstice or a pedal like the radial mix blend. If using a UST as a second source, put a very thin layer of Mexican modeling clay between the transducer and the saddle to reduce piezo quack and promote even string volume. Try Highlander pickups for USTs.That's the recipe for a great sounding setup for giging musicians. A good mic may sound better, but this is easier.

Easy to install if you have the proper tools, which I had. There is no hum with this pickup. The sound is warm, rich, and loud. The top three strings are louder than the bottom three. You can raise the bottom three pickup poles for a balanced sound. The volume knob is is a good location for easy access. I got a great deal on this so I am very happy with my purchase.

i unfortunately got one that the mother board or wires dont work i have Emg pick ups for all my bajoquintos but got a defective one hope i can get my refund or a replacement
