I purchased it basically to make empanadas. The sealing is not secured as expected, but it has to do with the type of dough I make. Tried wetting the sealing edge but it does not provide a 100% solution. The dough butter content is quite high, probably the main culprit, resulting in losing a star in the rating. It is fair to explain why, since with the appropriate dough "stickiness" it might do a great job.

Not as good as a metal press, but it works as intended for a cheaper price. As for how long it will last...only time will tell.

It's not the best press I've ever used. The well is too deep for the dough to pull around completely, so you have to fill it more shallowly. Otherwise, the dough doesn't come over all the way and seal properly. But it works okay for a plastic press.

I used this item the day I got it and it worked very well. I would definately recommend this item

Worth the price but didn't work well. Smaller than small tortillas. Crimps poorly. Not worth storage space in my kitchen drawers. A simple sealing with fork tines works better.
