This Marcato classic Ravioli Mold allows you to prepare 12 ravioli at once. The body of the mold is made of die cast aluminum, a solid food-safe material which guarantee a clean cut of the pasta sheet. The rolling pin supplied is made of solid wood. The wood has been specifically selected to be more compact and ensure durability over time. Create sheets of pasta either by hand or with a Marcato Pasta Machine to lay over the Ravioli Mold. I chose this ravioli maker after some negative experiences with a more complex, automated one. This simple form + rolling pin is sturdy and easy to use. Honestly it's a lot of fun. I learned to do a light coating of olive oil plus a solid dusting of flour. With that, the ravioli are easy to remove after forming. I'm using simple semolina pasta dough made with a manual (also Marcato) pasta maker.

I make raviolis and soup wontons with mine. It's a great kit. I recommend using the Marcato flour dispenser with this because it does a great job of evenly coating surfaces with the flour that prevents sticking.

It's a mold, how hard can it be? It works, and it's very sturdy. It's a little difficult to get the ravioli out once they are made. Very high quality

Initially used this when we were in Italy and will never go back to the wheel tools I have used in the past. After the class I looked this product and ordered it so it was on our doorstep when we got back. Makes the perfect square ravioli with a great seal so the contents do not leak.

Very pleased with the functionality of the mold. Make sure you sprinkle some flour on it before lining with your pasta sheet. Don’t press down on the indents just ensure you fill it completely with your filling (helpful to use a piping bag). Top with top pasta sheet and roll! Enjoy great ravioli :)

Glaub es besteht aus Aluminium. Macht jedoch einen guten Eindruck. Beim ersten mal blieben die ravioli unten kleben wegen der rauen Oberfläche. Mit genug Mehl ging es dann. Also ich würde es empfehlen. Preis ist etwas teuer
