My old outdoor shower valve had the anti-siphon valve fail and water sprayed out of the vent hole when the valves were turned on. We don't use the shower hose and sprayer that cam with it, we use a 20 foot hose and spray head that has it's own shut off on the handle. In the past, I had to screw on the extension hoses in the close proximity of the shower valve box. Now with this new valve, it is a quick connect to the hose and we can leave the water valves on so you just have to use the shower head in the shower tent. For install, I removed the shower valve box as in my case, the caulk around the box needed to be redone, but if you can get at you valve connections from inside your camper, (mine were behind a false wall under the bathroom sink) you can just unscrew the hot and cold hoses from the back of the valve, (make sure your water pump is off or your water supply is off) unscrew the valve holding nuts, (2) and the valve will be free. Put the new one in, install the valve holding nuts that come with the new valve and re-attach your hot and cold water hoses and your done. The majority of the outside of this valve is plastic, including the hot and cold handles, so be careful so you don't break them while installing.

More expensive than some of the others but well made in good value for the money. I had bought a cheaper one and it failed within a year of the purchase. Makes a very convenient shower valve replacement for the external chamber of a motorhome because you can hook your hose to it or whatever other accessory you want.

I was replacing what I thought was an exact copy of my old RV faucet, but when I installed it, the threaded tubes weren't long enough to attach the water lines. I will have to watch what I buy closer next time. It was entirely my fault for not researching better.

I installed this faucet in our inside shower / tub in our 2001 camper. I do not use the spout from the original and now have one less thing to bump my shin against. It works good for me, and also eliminates the switching valve at the faucet. The quick-connect can be easily removed and any standard shower hose connects to the threaded pipe on the faucet (1/2" MPT). If you have a spare bottom nut from an RV faucet it makes a great cover / bolster when the quick connect is removed. It is all plastic (except the stainless steel quick connect).

Had to replace the original outside shower fixture on our camper which is a 2018, because it was cracked and leaking. This fixture is built so much better and not like the cheap original one that came on the camper. Works great and was easy to install!

I like this product. However, it was received without the H and C caps for the top of the handles. The faucet functions fine but without those caps it looks unfinished. I don't want to return it. I just want the 2 caps that were not with the item. The caps from the old faucet do not fit.
