The fan motor worked great after installation, one of the screws was bent, but was easily straighten before installation.

The motor was as described. Fit properly. The review is losing 1 star because the packaging from the vendor did not provide any sort of protection for the fan mounting screws. That would have been ok except Amazon shipped in a plastic bag instead of a box. This resulted in both mounting screws being bent about 15 degrees off of vertical. I straightened them but there is always the danger of them breaking off.

This fan motor was easy to install, and works perfectly. It's quiet and fast.

Arrived with one of the mounting bolts bent - there was no obvious damage to the packaging, so it wasn't the result of poor packaging handling or the shipper's fault. I bent it back - which damaged the threads a bit but I made it work. The motor died after about a week of very minor use. I'm very disappointed with this product. I do not recommend. The previous replacement motor I had lasted 3 years and died only because of a contractor's mistake, sadly that one has been discontinued.

Installed from the inside in under 1 hour. Works great. Replaced motor in my old Broan 509S through wall exaust fan. Super loud, but so was the old one before it broke. No instructions, but I was able to 'wing it'.

Was glad to find this available instead of having to replace the whole fan assembly. Seamless installation and back up and going.
