Seems to be a noticeably higher pitch than the original (maybe a bit louder, too?.. it's hard to tell), but that's not necessarily cause for concern. Also can't speak to the longevity. But it is a direct replacement, and was perfect for my needs.

Same size, construction, mounting holes as the original. It was a quick, easy job to get the new unit in place into the old ceiling housing mount. Reasonable noise level; works like the original used to. Mission accomplished; on to the next task.

I ordered this replacement motor for a Nutone 10-year-old bath fan (QT series) and it arrived earlier than promised and was very easy to install. Great alternative to having to buy a complete new fan and probably having to screw around with drywall, rewiring, etc. Compared to the high decibel level and vibration of the old one, this is so quiet I thought it wasn't working once I turned on the shower. Now that I know how the assembly is supposed to look, I'm still going to try to fix the old unit as a spare.

All in one assembly just screwed into place and plugged in. Easy repair of 20 yr old fan. I think it's louder than the original.

The repair is finished and everything works. I had to guess witch motor to use and this was not a problem. The numbers on the broken fan motor did not match any of the replacements. I'm glad my bathroom heater vent works now.

Exactly fits the old motor. Just keep the new one as a back up in case the existing one breaks down.

Much cheaper than buying a complete new fan and far easier than changing out the rough in housing. Only issue was that we had to remove the squirrel cage to access one of the screws. Other than that, a good simple fix to a old fart fan.
