Perfect fit for Broan 655. The OEM fan shaft to blower has a hex set screw to secure the blower wheel. The shaft on this one is threaded on the end and the blower wheel is held on by a nut (reverse thread-counter clockwise to tighten), and there is an E-clip on the shaft to act as a stop for the back (inside) of the blower wheel. Install was straight forward. The motor/blower was very quiet and no vibration. Time will tell if this holds up, but it was worth a try for the lower cost of this replacement unit vs. OEM.

This is the perfect replace heater motor for Broan Nutone Heater. Just make sure you take note to confirm your part by checking the model number.Easy to install, simply unscrew, unplug and remove the old unit. Save the screw that secured it. Slide the new replacement unit into place, screw it into position to secure it and plug the power cord in. Congrats you are done.Again, do note and make sure you keep the screw from your old model as this does not come with the screw to secure it into position. So, when you remove the old unit, keep the screw and use it to install this new part otherwise you're taking a trip to the hardware store to get another screw/bolt.Took me 5 mins to install and works like a brand-new unit. Wife is very happy to have her heater working in the bathroom again, especially now that it's winter here in New England.

Use this to rebuild my Newtown bathroom fan heater. The heater worked, but the motor made a lot of humming noise, and you could tell the motor was on its way out. Heat is whisper quiet now and I no longer wake my son taking a shower before work.
