My Broan 42000 fan blade broke and all I needed was the blade.Tip: I removed the old blade by pulling it hard and it slid off (greasy). So I put some olive oil on a Q-Tip and greased the inside hole of blade and also the metal spindle. I have week hands, but I finally pushed it on. It works great. The way it's shown in the picture, that is the side that faces up when you put it on.This is my first Review ever, I felt people had to know it worked for me. It turns the correct way for my 42000 model. Maybe others put it on upside down or had different motors. Good luck. Oh and to clean the filter, soak in very hot water with dish soap and baking soda then scrub a little with a sponge. My filter looks brand new.

Needed a replacement fan for a Broan Model 403023 range hood and this fit perfectly. The motor shaft is splined with ridges and the blade is held on by friction (no nut or keeper on end of shaft). To replace you simply grab the old blade and pull it off the motor shaft then press the new blade onto the shaft. I found a little dish soap on the shaft and new blade helped to ease it into position as it is a little tough to press on. Once on I spun the blade by hand to make sure it was as straight as I could get it and not wobbling and I checked to make sure it was far enough up on the shaft so as not to hit the filter. Note: The flattest side of the center hub faces down while the cupped side with the wording faces up. Works as well as old blade.

After weeding through several local venders looking for a replacement fan blade and then searching through several online venders for relacement blades that were incredibly overpriced on the shipping side of charges - I happened upon the offer I accepted for a sub $5 replacement fan blade matched to the part number for the ancient Nautilus brand over-stove exaust hood fan I had break on me - this from a place called Pandora !!! (no! - not the music file distributor far as I know) The order was filled in days and went way better than using one of the local Brick & Morter businesses that wanted to sell me a whole new over stove exhaust hood at hundreds of $$$s - idiots who thought I was an idiot !!! New blade is in-place and working fine !

Wasn't an exact fit mounting hole wise but is for the hood assembly itself. You may not be able to press on by hand because it is too tight on the motor shaft. I took the motor out, did the oil, did the soap like others did, but it still didn't press on. I didn't want to put a drill bit in a drill to bore out the fan hole, so I just used a drywall screw and drill bit by hand to bore it out a little at a time and kept trying to press it on. I got it half way on then had to pop it off and bore the end of the hole to get it all the way on. Pain in the butt, but it finally was able to be pressed on.

When positioned as a replacement for a broken 9 inch blade (which seems to be the standard for small fans), this Broan is an inch or two smaller, which gives a comical look inside the cage. And versus the standard 9 inch, 3-prop blade, this replacement pushes less air. On my two speed RE brand fan, the high speed with this Broan propeller equals the low speed on my original 3 prop. But hey! That's okay. I can say my fan is now noticeably quieter. And I am not going to chuck a perfectly good motor, just because I have a broken fan blade. I like this prop. We are in a muggy condition in the west side of Los Angeles, and this replacement blade has my little fan going again.

Wanted to replace the one above our oven and while intstalling, it cracked and was immediately useless. I was really disappointed.

Ordered this to fix the range hood. Bit pricey but cheaper than buying a new hood. Good fit and does the job.

Overall the quality of the product of good. But we were installing it for AV1308, we had to make adjustment in the hole to fit it properly. Its been months and fan is working solid

I broke the fan on my kitchen fume extractor (I had the fan running with the filter removed as I was cleaning it and it sucked up a paper towel which broke off some of the blades 🤦) This was a perfect replacement, identical to the OEM one in every way, installation took seconds, very happy with my purchase!
