- Low engine oil
- Burning smell
- Rough-running engine
Steps of the valve cover gaskets replacement
- Step 1: Try to tighten the gasket
- Step 2: Allow the engine to cool and gain access to the gasket
- Step 3: Lift off the valve cover
- Step 4: Remove the old valve cover gasket and fit the new one
- Step 5: Apply silicone if the manufacturer tells you do so
- Step 6: Re-install the valve cover

it was a little concerning with how thick this rubber was as a gasket but it wont on perfect and I have no leaks so I have no complaints, great product!

High quality gasket for the valve covers on 2003 Toyota Tacoma. The gasket was perfectly shaped to match the valve cover. Also did not try to fall out while assembling. Use a little FIPG near the crank shaft as additional sealant. Sealed all of the leaks on both covers. Comes with everything you need to complete the job.

I was a little skeptical about this but the reviews were good and I went for it. what a great investment. they are good quality and worked great . my 1998 toyota tacoma had been leaking oil like crazy and this set did the trick, almost 300 miles and im happy . make sure to put a little gasket maker around the cam plugs and corners .
