Leaks from valve covers may be problematic. These not only cause unsightly stains but may lead to serious problems if not repaired.
What is a Valve Cover Gasket?
Valve cover gasket is designed to seal the valve cover to the surface of the engine cylinder head, the valve cover gasket prevents motor oil from leaking out of the joint part.
Pay attention when replace gasket:
* Pls use genuine gasket,wipe the two joint surfaces of engine and clean valve cover with a soft brush.
*Clean the valve cover with cleaning agent, clean the contact surface between the valve cover and cylinder head, install the valve cover gasket, apply gasket maker, and screw the screws diagonally from the middle to both sides.
*Don't scar the valve cover surface when carving debris.Tighten the fixing bolts of valve cover evenly,not too tight,which might hurt your cover.

Not recommended. Too thin that the valve cover can’t seal the valve properly. Leaking engine oil on my valve cover

The fit is not as snug as the leading brands would be so you will need patience in order to get it squared up against the valve cover on a 2011 Honda Civic. Once its settled into the grove don't touch it, then slowly turn over the valve cover and on to the cylinder head. You could always use a dab of gasket maker to make it stick to the cover... Worst case scenario. Seems to be made of decent rubber material and Much cheaper in price, so now lets see how long it last.

It got the job done. But is a small pain to install due to it not wanting to stay in the channel of the valve cover while Installing cover. I even tried the old rtv trick and it was still a pain. We'll see how long it lasts. If all is good in a month or two I'll update and give it 4 stars
