I've had this for about a year now and have taken it with me on all my travels. It has held up well to all the different terrains I have taken it to. I used it for photos and timelapses along the Swiss alps without issue. I've used it in hot and cold weather on the streets of Thailand, Bali, and Hong Kong without issues. the 4 pronged legs make it much sturdier than other selfie stands and the extra height has allowed more options for photos. It has also been useful for taking group photos at family gatherings as well. The bluetooth remote works great indoors but sometimes is finicky based on distance in outdoor environments. For those situations, I use my apple watch to control my iPhone so it isn't as big of an issue. but for those who don't have a watch, I would warn them to keep that in mind. Overall, I think it is an incredible deal at under $30.

Its unique for its quad instead of tri, which makes more sturdy and stable under normal circumstances. If were to move phone at head level, it may fall over due to its very normal physics of weight balancing, aka top heavy, but that can be fixed with adding some weight at the quadpod legs, (i just step on it to hold it in place.)The handle bar to help the phone to rotate helps a little, although it looks more like the hand holding stabilizer type of design, not much of a use in real world testing, aka stabilizing phone while recording. (it can be slightly useful for certain people, but useless for me)The main reason I bought this, is so I can use it as a group photo for my phone camera, while being portable to carry. Due to the actual size and my size limited storage bag, it does take up quite some space and area of my bag for it to fit. Its a good product, but this ain't as portable (size wise) as I thought, so I am getting a refund for this.

This tripod works great for my GoPro Hero 8. It is light and easily transported. The remote does not work with the GoPro but can be used with the iPhone. As others have mentioned it is susceptible to movement because of its light weight construction especially when fully extended. Good for hobby use. Got it for the eclipse and it worked, just didn't have the right lens filter, doh.

The holder for the iPhone is not very strong so with the larger sizes phones it is not stable. Otherwise it’s a good stand, if you’re using with GoPro it’s a decent stand.

I don’t know what to truly expect when ordering this product. This product is well made and it features work as described. It is extremely lite and travels well. I use my iPhone and while I may need to manipulate pushing front to back to capture exactly what I want. It is lite enough to not restrict me from doing it. I’m noticing that the I may need to figure out how to tighten so I don’t lose height but for the price if I had to get another one it wouldn’t kill my pocket. I would recommend it for what I’m using it for. I know I may use at other event later.
