I used these to fasten a homebrew version of a Decked or TruckVault drawer system that I built for my truck. They have so far worked flawlessly, no corrosion, no signs of wear and hold the 500lb+ loaded drawer system in place. Not much else to say other than I found these in 10 minutes on Amazon after failing to find them at HD and other local hardware stores.

Used to pull my sail shade tight. I paired it with a trampoline spring, so it allowed more flexibility than using it alone, but I was still able to "tighten" it to eliminate sag in the shade. They are strong, and I have lots of confidence using them. I would have preferred the hook on the ends to be a little less open, but it hasn't slipped off the hook or seemed to impact the functionality.

I got the M8 size. They are more heavy duty than what what I had expected but they'll be perfect for suspending my shade sail. I'm glad they have hooks on each end instead of closed circles. I only needed four but I'll hang on to the fifth one. I'm sure it will come in handy sooner or later.

These worked exactly as I needed them...to use with a guide wire for patio string lights. They are sturdy and strong enough for an application to pull airline wire very taught with a lot of stress. They easily rotated even under stress. No complaints on these except for they are a little pricey on Amazon, which is expected because of the excessive fees Amazon charges to third party sellers.

I purchased these turnbuckles for a project because they were just the right size and at a decent delivered price. I was hoping they would be of high enough quality to function as reliable hold downs. To my relief, they do seem to be quality turnbuckles. What I didn't want was a brittle material that could crack unpredictably. But these are all S.S. and appear to be ductile in nature. The hooks are well threaded and the unit operates very smoothly. I'm very pleased with these turnbuckles and will buy more when needed.

Seems strong and moderately effective. Action is fine, but the bolt threads are not manufactured to any sort of high tolerances, meaning they rattle in the coupling / nut assembly. As a result, despite being tensioned, these turnbuckles reversed themselves in a high wind and a shade sail came off its moorings. The turnbuckles completely came apart, and we found the bolts several feet from the coupling / nut parts. Fortunately we had thought to add rope to one attachment point and that kept the shade sail from going into the next county.I suspect these are probably just fine for static applications such as something in a garage or workroom, or corners-to-corners on a gate. They performed poorly as detailed above, and unfortunately they will all need to be augmented with rope loops in case they get shaken loose again, which seems probable given our wind. I am aware that shade sails need to be tensioned quite substantially to avoid risks like this, but this product does not strike me as appropriate for high dynamic loads. These could be just great if you use them for shade sails that you put up and take down frequently, or your yard does not sustain 20+ mph gusty winds.
