The bookends are better than what I expected. The cutouts are nicely done and they are sturdy to hold up all of my books. Nice product!

These metal bookends are attractive and well made. They are uniformly black, and each bookend in a set has a different pattern on it.I was always scavenging my bookshelves, looking for a bookend I could use somewhere else because it seemed I was always short a pair when I need some. So I bought 4 sets of these and I have plenty to spare now!The only slightly negative or cautionary comment I would add is that they are not as large as I thought they looked online; they aren't meant to hold up 3-ring binders full of paper and so on. I have them doing that job-but I really think they're bit small for that. The foot that slides under the material to be supported is only 4 or 5 inches long, and the height of these cute little bookends is 6 to 7 inches.Yes, I recommend these bookends. Just beware they are not as large as some others. (But they're prettier!)

I realized what a nuisance it was to have books leaning over randomly, and how much damage it was doing to the spines. This took care of the problem, and they are attractive, too. So much easier than big, bulky bookends that don't necessarily look good. You hardly see them, but when you do, they are a pleasant sight to see, instead of plain sheet metal.

These are exactly what I wanted. They are very thin, so they don’t take up shelf space, yet they are strong. I have used them against everything from good sized hardbacks to little pocket histories. The only size books I wouldn’t recommend them for are coffee table size or large scale, heavy cookbooks with the thick, glossy pages. I have used them with books up to the size of the DK or Smithsonian history, science, music, etc. hardback books — and even a few big art histories — that are staples in every homeschool library. I even have them anchoring both sides of rows of books on the tops of our bookshelves. After 23 years of whole-book homeschooling, we have many now out of print paperbacks that have seen better days. I worried the trees might be sharp and further damage some of those books. No worries there. I was actually surprised by how relatively smooth these are. We have several types of bookshelves, from rougher, softer wood to those newer, slipperier “woods.†These have not damaged any of our shelves and they stay put, even on the slippery shelves. I’m in the process of moving, reorganizing, and cataloging our library and just bought two more sets of these. I’ll absolutely buy more if I need them.

En la foto se aprecia como los libros a pesar del sujetador se inclinan hacia la derecha y hacia la izquierda.

These bookends are beautiful. All different patterns and the hold books really well. Nice finish on them and arrived quite quickly. Would 100% recommend.
