High back tractor seat. Perfect fit. Super comfortable. Looks like original equipment green and yellow. Easy to install and not as expensive as OEM. I’d buy again but the quality on this one should last awhile.

This is not a direct fit that you can use your existing pin from the original seat as stated in the video. Be sure to read the fine print as it require a different weight switch and a different pin than the original.I wanted to add to this review that the company sent me a new pin to make this a direct fit and did not charge me for it. With that type of customer service I they definitely deserve a five star review.

I think this is going to be a good value seat for the price, but it took some modifications to install. ( I have a 2016 1023e). First they sent a replacement pin in case the original was too short. Fortunately mine fit fine, but interestingly the new pin will not slide into the seat without forcing it or reaming out the plastic. Not an issue for me. I knew going into this that there was no hole in the back of the seat for the bracket that holds the caution sign. What I didn't realize is that same bracket also holds the seat down so you can flip everything forward. I read that others have drilled a hole in the new seat back, but I didn't want to compromise the integrity. The seat comes with 4 bolts that I guess allows it to fit other configurations. I was hoping that I could elongate the holes in my bracket to accommodate those bolts. ( see picture). Unfortunately then the front pin will not fit. So I went with option two, which is to drill two holes on the back edge of the same bracket to accommodate those bolts. ( again see picture) That worked perfect. When attaching the seat I used blue locktite to prevent them from backing out because you cannot really tighten them without pulling out the inserts. Everything works perfectly now. You have to do something otherwise the seat flips but the base does not and that will lead to a broken seat in short order. Unfortunately what should have been a 15-30 minute install took a couple of hours. It also has a slightly different feel than the OEM seat. Not just stiffer ( because it is new), but ergonomically. I think that I will get use to that, so not a big deal.

Not sure if other buyers are just incapable of easy installation tasks or what but this seat was a breeze to install. Even came with its own rod instead of using factory seat rod. Super easy to do if you have common sense. Seat is definitely firmer but well justifiable compared to buying factory john deere. Sturdy and overall very happy.

Takes modifying to fit. The included pin is too large to fit metal bracket on tractor, the set pivot is thin plastic and will fail.Photos it the replacement and original. Big durability differences.
