Fit my MF245 tractor PERFECTLY. Easy to put on and looks great. Will have to comment on quality after using it awhile

While it is not listed for it, it also fits a Massey Ferguson model 65 diesel.Fitting takes a little finagling as you must remove the base from the seat and back to install the base of the seat. There is not enough room due to the rockshaft arm housings in the back and the gear shift stick in the front. To do this you must remove the long pins holding the seat back to the base and reinstall them when you have the base mounted to the tractor. Slacken the weight adjustment prior to removing the pins.Reinstalling the long pins is something of a pain getting them to line up correctly for the reinstall but its not terrible, just have to wiggle and fiddle until they line up, then reinstall the washers and cotter pins. The pins are different lengths so pay attention to where they go. Like I said not great, not terrible. The seat sits higher and a little more forward than the old padded pan seat allowing easier pedal access for me. My feet rest on the footrests and fuel pedal instad of just dangling (I'm no that long legged). The suspension weight adjustment is easy enough and tilt was not required. Forward and rear adjustment is easy with the lever. The seat feels much better with the high backrest and comfort is much improved. It is a fairly hard seat, not very soft, but well molded.I cannot comment as yet on longevity but we shall see.So far I really like it.

Bought to replace an old replacement seat on my Hesston 80-66. Mounting holes were exactly the same so installing it was a breeze. The foam is a fair bit harder than the old seat but I think it’ll soften up in time. Vinyl appears to be pretty decent quality and the suspension works as it should.

I saw a few mixed reviews and wanted to leave one because of this. The seat fit perfect on my 1988 Massey Ferguson 240 tractor. No modifications, no wobble, no spacers, bolted right on with the two original bolts. The seat does need to be set in the farthest rear position for me at 6’ tall. Taller people may need to add spacers to get the mounting further back. For me it is perfect and it raised the sitting position to where you are now further/directly above the peddles which made driving the tractor easier! Seems to be great quality and made the ride of my tractor a lot better than the original seat! I would and have already highly recommend this seat!

I have a 1987 massey furgeson 240, one of the reviews I read had stated that this seat would work for it, and it does. I little advice for anyone installing it on a massey furgeson 240, instead of fully removing the mounting plate for installation ( like instructions say), just loosen the bolt that prevents seat from coming all the way off plate and move seat frame as far as it will go forward (without coming all the way off plate) and then install plate mounting bolts. When I fully removed seat frame from plate and bolted plate down, I couldn't get seat frame back onto the plate and had to remove plate and install like mentioned above. I do like this seat better than the factory seat that was on the tractor ( old pan seat).

I mow 2 very rough acres and the bouncing and jarring had become downright painful. I looked at the Trac suspension that uses your existing mower seat, but it would not easily install on my mower. After seeing a video online of a guy installing this seat (or similar) on a very similar mower to mine, I bought it. Mounting this tractor seat was pretty easy, using 2 bolts in the center. I did mount it about as far back as I could without hitting the engine. If I feel I need a firmer mount later, I can drill holes and add outboard bolts too. I wanted to also transfer my seat safety switch, and that required some work. You have to cut a hole in the metal seat base and the mounting base, but I did get it to work. After some trial and error, I had to move the switch fairly far back on the seat in order to get it to clear the mechanism at the front of the seat. I moved it back about 2" from the location shown in that picture...This seat seems well made with heavy gauge steel. I adjusted the springs a little on the lighter side for my weight. When mowing the smoother parts of my property now it feels like I am riding on a cloud! It takes the edge off the rougher parts with holes and cracks. All in all, I am really glad I did this.Note, this seat is a few inches higher than the original. I already had my steering bars set to the high position, so I didn't need to adjust them. I have not mowed the slope on my ditch yet, I hope the raised center of gravity does not cause a problem.
