When I first started shuffling only one side would shuffle. I was ready to give up on it. My husband noticed that the cards had a curve in them from previously hand shuffling them. We bent the cards to make them straighter and both sides shuffled. We did this a few times and had to straighten them out again. We started with a new deck and the results were remarkable. After playing about 15+ games they are still shuffling the way they should.Update after owning it for a little over two months. The Crank handle broke. The second handle became loose. I have since ordered rechargeable one that is very quiet and is automatic.

Would totally order this as a gift! Mush better than the old style battery powered versions as you can customize the speed and truly get a good shuffle! 10/10 would order again!

Manual card shuffler works as described but go slowly as these are plastic parts which tend to wear down with use. Plus when going slower the cards tend to shuffle smoothly. Not high end quality but nice enough and worth the price no matter now long it lasts. This one is more sturdy than the one my friend bought so you choose. Definitely a big help especially with double decks of cards! I would buy this again.

I purchase this to replace the shuffler we had that took batteries. I dropped it and a piece of the plastic broke and wouldn’t work after that.Saying that I ordered this crank version to avoid the use of the batteries. After I got it, I tried shuffling cards to try it out before game night, and it jammed up nine out of 10 of the times.Plus, it comes with two cranking handles, which tells me that they are probably going to break in no time. I am returning this and looking for another one.

I really like that. It doesn't include batteries that it's easy to use. No cards ever Bind up and overall. It's a great gift for someone like me who plays a lot of car games. And is well worth the money. Not to mention the cards were just easy to shuffle.
