Like having another set of hands to hold your gardening implements. It is super sturdy and serves to keep you clean. Could not ask for a better gardening apron.

This appears to be waterproof on the inside and water resistant on the outside. It looks like it will last a long time. Looking forward to using it. Only suggestion for improvement would be more coverage on the chest/top.

Although this is the best gardening apron I've tried so far (by buying it and using it, not by being sent it for a free review), it's just ok. I don't think it was designed by a real gardener. Clippers in the pockets quickly poke a hole in the pockets because the backing material is not sturdy, and the pocket snaps do not allow you to snap a tool in - the pocket needs to be taller and longer. So tools can fall out as you work. Also I wished the tie was long enough to wrap around to the front, since it's not easy to tie and untie it behind my back.

Because the fabric very sturdy, I have given it only 4 stars. I am older now and prefer the lighter weight twill fabric. This is an excellent garden apron for the more professional gardener. It is well designed with heavy duty snaps on the larger pockets, There are 3 tool loops, and 2 narrow tool pockets; also a cell-tel pocket with a snap on top. One large pocket 16" wide x 7 1/4" deep (topped with 2 snaps.) Also 2 pockets with pleats about 4" wide x 5 3/4" deep and one larger center pocket 5 3/4 " wide x 5 3/4" deep with pleats for expansion. [The latter 3 pockets also have good quality snaps at the top of each.] Fully adjustable tie neck and waist straps. Color is a rich olive green with rust/brown trim. IT'S A GREAT, HEAVY DUTY GARDEN APRON!

Yes it is sturdy and the fabric is durable but the design needs work. The ties at the neck are very stiff, making them uncomfortable and difficult to tie. The ties for the back are WAY too short, there’s not enough fabric to actually tie. And it’s about 3-4 inches too short, it should come about mid thigh and this one ends at your hip. So all in all there’s a good idea here, but it needs some improvement. I returned this and will just sew my own.
