Est wings are great hammers, I’ve used them for over 40 years, this one hasn’t disappointed, I primarily use it for maintenance work and tile removal on commercial kitchen tile replacement and patch jobs, works great holds up, just as my other Estwing hammers have over the years.

I liked the feel of the hammer. The sharp end could use a little more point? I didn't do well parting the bricks. :)

手に持ってみて感じたのは「重い」こと。バランスが悪く持ち重りしているのではなさそうです。純粋に重量がある感じです。計ると「９００ｇ（梱包抜き本体のみ）」でした。・・・これはそこそこ力持ちの方向きでは？「大人並みの力はある」と自認していましたが・・・。あまり力に自信がない方が、フィールドで持ち歩きながらたたくには向かないと感じます。ただ、たまたまわたしが「よく持ち歩きで使用すること」と「あまり固くて大きな石は相手にしていないこと」で言えるのだと思います。持ち歩きには少し疲れるかもしれませんが「固く大き目の岩石も割れそうなパワー（重いですから）＆小さく柔らかめの石も当然割れる汎用性」は、評価に値すると感じます。扱えるならば、これ１本で様々な場に対応してくれそうです。撃ちがねの四角い部分がそこそこ広く、たがねも打ちやすそうです。最後にひとつ。柄（持ち手部分）が日本人には太い気がします。成人男性・普通サイズの手（？）で「慣れれば扱える」のでは？小柄な方には正直おススメは・・・。いい所がいっぱいです。良品と思いますが、扱う対象や使用する人を選ぶところがあります。（研究室内なら使いますが、フィールドにはもう少し軽いのを持って行きそうです。）
