As a simple plastic accessory this shouldn’t cost much to buy but Canon original is very expensive. This is a proper replacement. Correct size and fit. Works well. Happy with the result and again, great value.

I purchased it for use in my Canon 70-300mm Lens It fits ok, but it doesn't have that tight, solid fit like aCanon lens hood has. it is a bit loose when it if "locked" in to place, but is still quite useful

I don't know if this is normal for the Cannon hood, or if it is specific to this brand, but I cannot fit the hood on if I have a filter on the lens. I have to screw the filter on after installing the hood, but then I can't get the hood off.

Lo compré para mi lente de 75-300mm (dice en la descripción que funciona para ese tipo de lente) y apenas se puede ajustar, no se puede ni sostener en la lente, queda totalmente suelto!!!
