These on off switches are great, they make it very easy to turn things on and off right at the wall socket. They can also be used at the end of an extention cord to plug in when using multiple electrical items. I just used one for my outdoor Christmas lights, I just reach out the front door and turn them on or off. Each switch also has a red light indicator to let you know if the power is on. This is a good safety feature, I use one for my heating pad. These are very convenient for my aquariums when doing maintenance, I can turn everything off at the same time. They are very sturdy and heavy duty, I will buy these again for sure.

I use this switch on a radio that my spouse likes to turn on for the cats when we're both away. She used to ask our smart speaker to play a local radio station, but that seemed less efficient. I could have used a smart plug, but I would have to train the smart speaker to respond to the same command in a different way.This switch allows the pre-tuned, and volume set radio to be turned on right at the door as she leaves.The switch has a pilot light which is lit when the switch is activated, which can be helpful for the other ideas I have for the other switches which came in the box.

I just love this three pack. We use them on our two decks for our extension chords. We have them plugged in to the outlet and that way we can turn on or off our patio lights while leaving the google hub plugged in constantly for music during summer parties. It was so easy to install. Appearance is ideal because you barely notice them. They are safer than leaving the lights on all day long. Qualit seems good and it’s a greasy way to control what is on and off without installing a whole new outlets and switch. We are very happy with the three pack price and quality.

I like how the switch has a light so you can easily tell if it's on or off. I also like how it is compact enough that it only covers one outlet.

I particularly like the light that lets me know when it is turned on. The outlet works very well, but does not last very long. I have had to replace 4 of these in a short period of time. Twice I have had to replace the one we use for our toaster oven, which I use every morning. Once I had to replace the one I use for my hair dryer - it is much easier to remove the hair dryer from this outlet, instead of the one in the wall. Also, I use 2 for my cell phone and I-pad chargers - one of which I replaced one time. I plan to keep on buying these, because I really like the way they work, even if they don't seem to last very long.

One of the nuisances of modern life is that many electronic devices never really turn off. And by "off" I mean a state in which they consume no energy at all. Most of the time a device will switch into some sort of standby mode, still consuming a few watt (sometimes many), if for no other reason that the power supply (whether wall wart or not) has some efficiency losses that make it "consume" a bit of energy, even when the rest of the device doesn't pull any.And worst are those devices whose makers believe they should never be off, so they don't even have a power switch.And always pulling the electric cord out from the wall socket and back in as necessary is not exactly a graceful solution for this. That is where this little unit comes in handy. It plugs into your wall outlet and accepts the plug of your device and has a switch, so it can cut electric power to your device completely. It has a sleek enough form factor, so there never was a situation, where another plug on a wall outlet was blocked.The packaging I bought had a box of three and I've already bought this product more than once, since I have several devices in my household that I want to cut from electrical power when not in use. So far it has held up well without any problems and I would buy more, if I needed them.

These are simple switches, deserving a simple review. Each meets UL and CSA standards, fits nicely above another on an outlet, and has a lamp indicating it's switched on.

I bought this to control my 850w ski waxing iron which annoyingly doesn't have an on-off switch. This plug switch fits nicely without crowding the other outlet and with the illuminated switch it's easy to see if it's on or off. The price is OK because you do get three. The other ones will come in handy for Xmas lights or de-icing cables (mine are only 150w and 300w). I saw that some reviewers have reported their switches melting so while they are apparently "rated" for 1875w/15 amps, be aware that the manufacturer specifically says to not use them for "heavy duty" appliances like air conditioners or space heaters. Anyway, they seem to work fine for my application. YMMV I guess.
