The westsaim EV Charger Holder for SAE J1772 Vehicles was easy to install, and included mounting screws and anchors for wood or drywall. I installed mine using three-inch Tapcon masonry screws and predrilling after making a template using masking tape and a pen to map out the holes. The rotatable holster is a great way to keep your cord and handle out of the way and holds the handle firmly in place. The rotatable holster is quite stiff initially, but moving it side to side a few times loosened it up.

I installed an EV charger inside my garage, but I got tired of having to open/close the garage door to access the charging cable every time I wanted to plug in. I obviously didn't want to just leave the charging cable laying across the garbage can. The only place I could feasibly mount it was partially obscured by a holly tree.I found this EV Charger Holder, and it pivots about to either side so I don't have to reach into the tree to grab the plug. Perfect. It was easy enough to install, but since I needed to mount it to brick, I chose to replace the OEM screws with TapCon concrete screws. I drilled the holes and added silicone caulk around them to prevent water from getting behind the bricks, then easily mounted the holder on the wall.The overall design is pretty good, but the plug holder itself feels a bit flimsy (I deducted one star for this reason). We'll have to see if it stands the test of time, but so far it's been through a couple of snow storms and a week of single-digit weather and it's holding up fine with daily usage. Functionally, the holder works fine so far without a hiccup. One design suggestion for the manufacturer, though: angle the plug holder down slightly to prevent water from collecting inside and possibly freezing the plug in place.Overall, I'd recommend this EV Charging Cable Holder if you need one, but replace the mounting screws. I'm happy with it's value for the money.

We have an EV charger on the side of our garage as to not be visible from the street. We have a tiny 50s home with a one car garage that could never be used for a car, so the charger needs to be placed outside. This was a great product since the wand mount swings sideways and doesn't block the walkway around the side of the house. I am often bringing the yard debris container through, or remodel junk to take to the dump, and the charging cord stays nice and compact against the siding. There are multiple angles that you can set the wand mount to, and they snap in place very strongly.My charging cord is long and over 20 feet, and there's still ample space to coil it up rather tight. I don't know many charging cords longer than mine, but if there were they'd still fit on this thing. It feels nice and sturdy, although I used different screws as my siding needs longer screws that can reach a few inches in. I'll probably need to adjust the pitch on mine a bit as the siding has pushed the wand mount up slightly, and I think it could be possible now for water to migrate into the wand area, but in a normal mounting situation where the device is installed 90 degrees vertically, the wand enters at a slight upward angle preventing water ingress. Perhaps that is an additional item that could be included, a wedge for angled siding, such that is included in many frost free hose bibs to maintain proper drainage of water.After a few weeks of use, I am very happy with this product. I foresee it serving it's intended purpose for years and am very pleased to recommend it.

This saddle and receptacle are a great upgrade to what we had previously. I love not having to be stuck with the charger sticking out from the wall which can make a tight space impassable. Installation with the included hardware was simple and took about five minutes.

The EV charger wall hanger is functional, but the build quality is disappointing. It feels cheaply made, and I have to be careful when using it to avoid any damage.On the plus side, I do like that the holder folds away nicely, keeping the charger snug against the wall when not in use. It helps save space, but the flimsy construction makes me question its long-term durability. For the price, it could be much better.
