I chose these because they DONT say salt and pepper. Since it has a clear bottom, it is obvious as to what is inside. I dont need to be told. I also like the simplicity. Stainless steel over glass, with a pleasant nonobtrusive color detail (I went with blue). I also chose this because of ease of filling. Plenty of cute shakers out there, but the ones that are filled from the bottom are to be avoided. I dont like the plug style. This is filled from the top by simply twisting off top portion. Makes much more sense. And it is the combo of all this that led me to making a purchase. I bought this as a gift, and I will be proud to wrap it up and give away. I have no personal need for additional shakers, but I am tempted to buy a set in orange But why $2 more than blue? hm, maybe I wont).I really do adore these shakers. Highly recommend-- look just like in pictures.

I love these! I know I'm a little weird, but I have a purple kitchen. In the past I had to paint an old set to make it match the other items on my stove & counters. These match perfectly and are so much classier than the hand painted ones. They will last a lifetime.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the size of the shaker. It’s heavy duty and big enough that you don’t need to refill often it does have a glass base so you you have to be careful with that if you don’t have a soft surface to put it on also nice that you can customize the color and personalize it to the space.

The salt shaker ended up going rusty around the holes ...rendered it useless ... so I threw it out ...I should have taken a photo, my bad ...Overall, they look lovely and looked just great on my dinning table .. but the Rust got me ...Cheers ...
