I just finished building my predator 212 and was wondering why my engine would stall and backfire if I gave it throttle. I thought that maybe I needed a bigger jet but it turns out the filter blocks air flow. The little rubber thing that connects to the actual filter is right in front of the air vents for the main and pilot jet. I can’t reccomend this especially if you have a vm22 carb or clone. It directly blocks air flow and if you don’t know you might waste money on new jets or even a new carb.

I like them because they work on larger opening and secured tightly. They won't vibrate off. Appearance was another reason why I chose them, with the brilliant color and chrome finished. 👌

Amazing air filters for my power stack on my 1982 yamah xj1100 maxim yics trike ,the do an amazing job and look brilliant and top notch on the carbs on the trike and add that little hint of red to go with my paint scheme of black and red ,came very well packaged in amazing time ,well recommended ðŸ‘
