I am glad I purchased the Ework cordless trimmer. After purchasing a standard size trimmer, I realized I needed a smaller one that I could handle safely. This arrived quickly & I was able to charge it & use it the same day - it only took about 20min to fully charge. I was able to trim up my boxwood shrubs easily, which was my first experience with any hedge trimmer. I found that this worked very well & did not leave ragged edges on the leaves or branches. This was easy to use & I liked the triple start feature with blade guard, soft start & safety locking device. Even though it is lightweight, my hand & arm were a bit tired when I was finishing up. I gently wiped the blades clean & have purchased some sewing machine oil to apply to the blades, as per recommendation. Even though the grass trimmer blades were included, I probably won't use because I do not have the need. I am glad I purchased the Ework hedge trimmer & would highly recommend this product.

This is a second review. My first wasn’t great because I was missing a few parts but the customer service was on point and responded to me asap and sent the extra parts within days. The small weed cutter is wonderful. I used it on my weeds and do my sidewalk edging with it instead of messing around with my regular edger. The longer piece isn’t as useful, but still can cut small thin plants, but not branches. Overall great for the price .

After researching several trimmers, I chose the EWORK trimmer from the consistently good reviews. It did not disappoint. I liked the combination of hedge trimmer and grass trimmer. The blades are easy to switch out and efficiently cut hedges and grass. The battery charged quickly and is also easy to insert and withdraw from the unit. The only problem I have--and this is my fault, not the trimmer's--is holding the safety button on at the same time I'm pressing the on button. My hand tires quickly and I have to take breaks. This is probably due to my age (early seventies) as well as poor hand strength. I realize the safety button is necessary, so if anyone has the same problem, just be aware. Overall, it is a great tool, not too heavy, and it does a good job.

This is the second EWorks products I have purchased from Amazon and I love them both. We have a rather large yard with lots of trees and hedges. We have used old fashioned trimmers as well as electric trimmers in the past. The electric trimmers required a long heavy extension cord which my wife accidentally cut with the trimmer. We both were anxious to try this new battery powered trimmer and we were not disappointed. The unit including battery and hedge trimmer weighed in at two- and one-half pounds using bathroom scales. One feature I really liked is you are required to have your thumb on a slide switch before the unit will function by pulling the trigger with your finger. It is very easy to trim using one hand even for my wife. The battery came with a fast charger and battery life seems to be more than adequate for the job. The grass trimmer came in handy for us trimming grass around a concrete curb that was hard to reach with a normal edger. I highly recommend this product from EWork .I might the price for this unit has come down about $20 since I purchased mine.

I bought this because I was so pleased with the Ework blower I previously bought, great company and great products. This hedge trimmer charged up quickly, held the charge long enough to trim 10 small bushes with power to spare. 2 of my shrubs are more stick like as opposed to the softer pine shrubs. I anticipated it may be difficult to get through them, but it was a breeze, it cut like butter. I did notice another review said it was hard to hold the safety down while trimming, I'm in my 70's also with arthritis, but I must disagree. You have to hold the safety at the same time as the start lever, but once it has started you can let go of the safety until you let go of the start lever when you're finished. It was a bit awkward at first, but I quickly caught on how to hold it pointed away from me and use my other hand to hold the safety during start it up. I was concerned that the blade was only 8", my husband had corded trimmers that were about 24", but those seemed too much for me to handle. This 8" size actually gives you more control over the trimming so it can be done quite quickly. The size and weight also gave me more confidence and security, as this was my first time trimming the bushes. I must say Eworks company opened my eyes to cordless tools, I am pleasantly surprised and satisfied with the weight and and power of their tools, along with the durability.
